I seem to recall reading in numerous places that anything less than three native born children per American family endangers societal viability and the sustainability of a distinct American culture. So it is disturbing to think that married Americans are adopting puppies instead of having children or adopting children. After all, God did say to Adam and Eve, “Be fruitful and multiply.” He did not say, “Raise puppies,” instead. Puppies and kids together, yes. Puppies alone, no.

For over three years now, the American public has been exposed to the quips from a Vice President whose conduct supports a growing belief that his selection was based more upon his value as a life insurance policy than his possible leadership capabilities. The latter category must be recognized simply based upon his “next in line” status.

A Jewish understanding of Scripture tended to be holistic, and not as prone to consider the natural world differently from how they thought about the divine. Adopting that ancient Jewish perspective when we study Scripture will go a long way to preserve the wholeness of our faith. The church can still recover from the dichotomy of thought that has allowed us to assume the autonomy of reason and compartmentalize our faith. We just have to learn how to think.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, these are the easy to understand graphs that Team Obama doesn’t want people to see, because they speak volumes about his failed economic policies. Unless otherwise indicated each of the graphs are from the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics. They show the danger our nation faces due to the employment situation, the financial situation of average American families and the looming national debt disaster, all exacerbated under Obama’s watch.

A few weeks ago, Rep. Kristi Noem (R-SD) asked some important questions about the Endangered Species Act in the Natural Resources Committee. Noem has offered an amendment which would help combat the pine beetle infestation in the Black Hills, and plans to designate the black-backed woodpecker as threatened or endangered would hinder these efforts.

The non-absolute morality and godless religious ideology of the secular left has permeated into all aspects of our once dominant Judeo/ Christian heritage and culture. The social climate of today’s America is so decadent, so immoral, so polluted, so base and so lewd that it has passed the point of remediation to the point of no return.

Gordon Howie at The Right Side reiterates what I’ve been saying for a couple of years now: we need real Republican leadership in the South Dakota House, not the kind of leadership we have now-the kind that makes Democrats smile with satisfaction. If we put pressure on our Republican representatives to support new leadership that is fully committed to the Republican agenda, it can happen in 2013.
