The truth revealed by Obama’s public admission that he thinks the “private sector is doing just fine” is that this president doesn’t care about our private economy and only views it as a necessary evil to pay for the power he derives from the actions of the public sector employees.

Green Jobs a Big Drain on Economy

With Spain on the verge of bankruptcy, having just secured a €100 billion loan from the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) to recapitalize its banks just so it can refinance its €734.9 billion debt, the government there has been looking for things to cut. One thing the new government under Mariano Rajoy saw that could be cut were taxpayer subsidies to “green” forms of energy. Debts related to those subsidies had reached some €24 billion last year, or 3.2 percent of its total debt, before the programs were discontinued.

You may have heard about liberal “journalist” Bill Press and his contempt for the American national anthem (not a big surprise, since liberals usually hold anything about America or symbolic of American values in contempt). 19-year-old Marquis de Lafayette purchased a ship and sailed to America, arriving JUNE 13, 1777. Trained in the French Military, he was appointed a major general. Lafayette endured the freezing winter at Valley Forge, and fought at Brandywine, Barren Hill and Monmouth. Lafayette led troops against the traitor Benedict Arnold and commanded at Yorktown, pressuring Cornwallis to surrender.
