Before I left the gathering of conservatives at the Life and Liberty building tonight, I told my good friend, fellow-Tea Partier and blogger Ed Randazzo I was tired and just going to go to bed tonight without writing anything about tonight’s exciting GOP primary in South Dakota. But I just couldn’t help myself. I won’t bore you with blah blah blah about what you’ve already heard, but I’d like to offer some insight and analysis into what has turned out to be a pivotal-and largely victorious-battle for the values that can preserve our way of life in these troubling times.

Hanging chads and legal battles will remain seared in the memories of everyone who is old enough to remember the historic 2000 Bush versus Gore election decider in the state of Florida. As difficult as it is to believe, the chad fights have already begun in the Sunshine State, as last week the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, demanded that the state of Florida stop efforts to exclude illegal aliens, the deceased, and convicted felons from the voter rolls.

We should be very wary of a government unconstrained by traditional notions of right and wrong. When men in power take it upon themselves to decide what is just, what is true, and what is good; when they look inward to their own sinful hearts and outward towards a crumbling culture for guidance instead of upward to the Creator, they will inevitably choose the wrong path, and civilized society will suffer.

A very sobering video report from the Wall Street Journal on how ObamaCare is already forcing colleges to drop student health plans. The bureaucratic nonsense of ObamaCare is forcing radical cost increases (imagine that!) and colleges are dropping their student health care plans.

It is a painful, heartbreaking thing to watch your country fall in slow motion. Every level of our leadership is occupied, from the criminal fraud in the White House on down. One of the most glaringly lawless, commie-infested offices is the Department of Justice (DOJ), the supposed king law enforcement entity of the land.
