Will Supreme Court Stand for Our Freedoms?

It is a frightening time in our nation’s history when we see our Supreme Court just a single swing vote away (Justice Kennedy) from undoing our country as founded.  And, if Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) is somehow reelected (by hook and crook), then we are looking at the prospect of his being able to tip the Court over to a radical leftist, firm majority.  He has already appointed two unqualified, radical leftist women to the Court in his first term. We are certainly living in dangerous times for the future of America.

South Dakota Legislative Update, Jan. 26, 2012

These are the bills American Clarion is watching during the 2012, South Dakota Legislative Session.  Some we support, some we oppose, and some we’re just watching to see which way they go. New ones added since our last update include: repealing certain provisions if ObamaCare is ruled unconstitutional; a minimum wage increase, authorization for hydraulic fracturing in South Dakota, changes to the state flag, penalties for hiring illegal aliens, expanding gambling, and more.
