While Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was filibustering for 13 hours in defense of the American people and the U.S. Constitution, what was the “Republican” congressional leadership doing?
You’ve probably heard a statement like this before: It’s 2am in the morning. Do you know where your kids are?”
Hey, our country is $16 TRILLION in debt, spending more than a trillion dollars every year that we don’t have, and President Obama is expanding Big Brother at an alarming rate. Do you know where your Republican leadership is?
Apparently, they were out last night participating in an extremely spendy dinner with President Obama that required a 20-vehicle motorcade to engineer. But, you know, we don’t have any money for White House tours.
Don’t you love how the leadership of both the Democrat and Republican Parties are looking out for the American taxpayer?
Let’s get more people like Rand Paul in Washington, and fewer like Barack Obama and John Boehner.

Senator John McCain went all whacko bird to the Huffington Post attacking fellow Republican Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. His fellow Republican Senators crime was to have had the audacity to actually stand up to power and force the Obama Administration to accept that the U.S. Constitution does not allow the random killing of its citizens on American soil.
One has to have priorities during tough times, right?
Hugo Chavez, one of the world's most "beloved" dictators and love ofthe American Left and Hollywood has gone the way of all the earth today and has entered into the righteous reality of eternity. All tyrants, thugs and oppressive dictators may dominate and oppress their people here in time for their own selfish wants, delusional fantasies and narcissistic comforts for a little tiny season, but in the end they all give a full account.
The Virginia Tech tragedy spurred passage of the first major piece of federal gun control legislation since the assault weapon ban was passed in 1994. Now, five years after Bush signed the NICS Improvement Amendments Act into law, we have "deja vu all over again." Not only have we tragically witnessed another deranged young man entering a school and murdering innocent youth, but we now must witness again politicians offering the same non-solution to allegedly deal with the problem: wider background checks.
In response to being called out on the carpet for his tyrannical methods, Obama stated publicly, “I am not a dictator.” Whatever Obama says, you can rest assured he is doing the exact opposite, calling “evil good and good evil” and putting “darkness for light, and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20). It is time for the Declaration of Independence to be resurrected in the same spirit as our forefathers.
