Bishop E. W. Jackson, founder of Staying True to America’s National Destiny (S.T.A.N.D.) spoke at the National Press Club on September 10 to call for an exodus of believing Christians and Jews from the Democrat Party. Bishop Jackson believes that the Democrat Party has become antithetical to Judeo-Christian values and it is imperative for all believers to stand for what we believe by rejecting Democrat candidates at all levels. Bishop Jackson addresses several issues, but considers the notion of “same-sex marriage” to be a particular abomination, which alone should cause believers to rebel against Democrats. Listening to Bishop Jackson’s remarks gave me a boost this morning like I haven’t experienced in some time.

He'd vote for Obama
What will conservatives and libertarians do once persuasion has proven futile and the electoral process has been exhausted? What if President Obama wins re-election? Of course, nothing here should imply that a Romney win will assure freedom’s resurgence. But an Obama win would surely seal the perception, by way of tacit voter approval, that America no longer aspires to be Reagan’s city on a hill. We want to be France, with their free health care and guaranteed vacations.
The 2012 fiscal year ended this past weekend with a whimper, as our nation suffered approximately $1.2 trillion of new debt this year, bringing the total to $5.3 trillion since Barack Obama became president. $5.3 trillion is a lot of money. It is more than any other president has increased the national debt in history. In fact, $5.3 trillion constitutes about one-third of the entire national debt of the United States.
Nearly 1,500 pastors in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico have registered to participate in Alliance Defending Freedom’s fifth annual Pulpit Freedom Sunday. In just the last week, registration rose from a record 1,050 to 1,477 and continues to grow as registration stays open through the date of the event, this Sunday.
In this recession, the economy has lost a net 3.4 million jobs from its 2008 peak that have not yet been recovered. Meanwhile the working age population has grown by more than 11.1 million since then — creating a 13.5 million and widening jobs gap that will not be filled easily no matter who wins the election on Nov. 6.
Leftist social engineers try to make us believe that acquiescence to the homosexual agenda in no way affects those who recognize that homosexual behavior is immoral, unhealthy and aberrant. As if common sense wasn't enough, a quick look around the world at places that have submitted to the homosexual agenda reveals this as a complete lie.
