With a long heritage of Spanish, French and other influences New Orleans has a unique place in the history of the nation. With streets named Tchoupitoulas, Melpomene and Terpsichore, foods like the Po-Boy, muffulettas and café – ole and beignet’s, who would doubt that you are in an unusual city when you set foot in the famed – “Crescent City”

Say you take a trip to the local movie theatre to see a wonderful new film. You purchase your ticket and stroll up to the overpriced concession stand to support free enterprise by making a purchase. As you sit in your seat and the movie begins you notice someone from the row behind you run up to the exit door in the dimly lit room and open it for a dozen individuals with candy, soda, and popcorn who stealthily take their seats.

It was reported by Aamer Madhani, a White House reporter under Barack Hussein Obama’s criminal administration, that big city mayors have vowed to defy the law and President Donald Trump regarding sanctuary cities harboring illegal aliens.

While there is no official legal definition of “sanctuary city,” the term refers to towns, cities, or counties that protect undocumented immigrants by refusing to cooperate completely with federal detention requests.

In the Constitution we find the framers securing and guaranteeing protection of all life in the 5th Amendment: “No person shall be deprived of life…without due process of law.” This applies to every living person, and we know abortion violates this right by killing babies before they’re born, let alone before due process.

This past Monday I had the privilege of testifying before the County Council regarding the move to make Maryland a sanctuary State — a place where those who have illegally broken into our country are protected from enforcement of the U.S. immigration laws. The repeated refrain of those who advocated for the law breakers is that we must be a welcoming community. In my testimony, I used the analogy of someone breaking into my house.

I’m not here to defend United Airlines’ policy on bumping, but there is a policy. They do bump. I know it and I’m not even a flier. So how do I know airlines bump? I saw it on websites when checking out ticket prices for a friend. Tickets or reservations (or however termed) were subject to b-u-m-p-i-n-g. If I know it, I would think someone that flies would know it, too.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has ordered the Justice Department review of all consent decrees entered into with police and corrections departments across the country — “prosecute and settle” agreements by the Civil Rights Division whereby a liberal city agrees that it has violated the civil rights of its citizens, and agrees to implement a federal program regulating searches, stops and the use of force.

The most prevalent absurdity in modern America is the fact that we have blocked the entrance of 60 million of our own offspring due to Roe v. Wade, while we insist that those who pour across our borders illegally have a perfect right to be here.

CNN reported on July 14, 2014 that a Walt Disney World security guard and janitor at SeaWorld’s Discovery Cove were among 18 men arrested in a sex sting dubbed “Operation April’s Fools,” Polk County, Florida. Those arrested responded to online ads from undercover detectives who posed as children or custodians of children.
