The People’s Choice
The latest polls indicate that 70% of Americans believe that our country is headed in the wrong direction. Those that claim to understand the polls would have us believe there will be a major change of political party control as a result. But that doesn’t mean a major change in the direction of the country. If recent history is any indicator, the political party in control does not accurately reflect the true desires of the people. How many American voters sense a growing decay with regards to the strictness of our loyalties, integrity and even common sense? I’m aware of the system named “gradualism;” however, at some point, shouldn’t there come a time for admitting that the movement of the clock’s hand is in the wrong direction? Our American journey has been gradually beset by a slew of irrelevancies. It’s time to consider some of these anti-American add ons.

The situation has become so dire and the hour so late that it appears the only line of defense we have left between the USA and the USSA is a House of Representatives controlled by Progressive Republicans and the hope of a Senate controlled by the same crowd. The old bulls talk conservative to get elected, then join hands across the aisles in a marriage of despotism with deceit.

Many True Conservatives has sent out another mailer, similar to but a little different from the last one a few days ago. If you’re a conservative South Dakotan, you should consider voting for a real conservative instead of throwing away your vote on a RINO whose record proves he will betray your conservative values, if given the chance. Don’t give him the chance.

The midterm elections are just a week away, and with most predicting a Republican sweep on November 4, House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy is setting his sights on the 2015 governing agenda. But before a new Congress is sworn in, the government’s funding for FY 2015 is due to run out on December 11, and Politico’s Jake Sherman reports “[McCarthy] would like to use the lame-duck session to pass a long-term government-funding bill, so Washington can begin focusing on big-picture legislating, instead of just trying to keep government’s doors open.”
