The Tyranny of Political Correctness

The Tyranny of Political Correctness

Every single day, the mainstream media bombards us with subtle messages that make it clear what is “appropriate” and what is “inappropriate,” and most Americans quietly fall in line with this unwritten speech code. But just because it is not written down somewhere does not mean that it isn’t real. In fact, this speech code becomes more restrictive and more suffocating with each passing year.

Don’t Collect Phone Records, Secure Our Border!‬‬

Don’t Collect Phone Records, Secure Our Border!‬‬

It is ironic that politicians think our country will be kept safe by collecting phone records while illegal immigrants are crossing our border every day, and the government plans to let in 10,000 potential terrorists in a foolish refugee program. Imagine if instead of invading our privacy, our government simply secured our border, and ended insane refugee programs that could bring terrorists to U.S. soil.

Protect the Citizens or the Terrorist?

Protect the Citizens or the Terrorist?

By Grant Carson Last week, a terrorist couple slaughtered fourteen people and injured twenty-one others in San Bernardino, California. Shooter Tashfeen Malik, a Pakistani citizen and the wife of the other shooter Syed Farook, entered the United States with a K-1 visa which had an inaccurate address. Evidence shows that they both committed to “jihad” and “martyrdom” at least two years ago. America’s Problem, a Kid’s Solution

America’s Problem, a Kid’s Solution

The federal government has far overstepped the limitations set for it in the Constitution.  As always, Washington claims that if it has more power, it will fix our problems.  But if Washington has not fixed, but only grown these problems when they claim more unconstitutional power, how would the cycle change if we gave Congress, or the President more power?

15-Year-Old Wants Debt Limits on Government

Last week around midnight, a new “spending bill” passed the House, increasing the national debt by billions. This was John Boehner’s final act as Speaker of the House. The bill was reportedly enacted to prevent a government shutdown. Instead of allowing more spending, unnecessary and unconstitutional areas of the government should be cut

Bernie Sanders Misses Jesus

Bernie Sanders Misses Jesus

Bernie Sanders spoke to Liberty University a few weeks back, presenting himself and his convictions boldly and honestly, and in response, a Liberty alumnus and evangelical pastor “Tim” gave a rather impassioned speech about how his conservative Christian beliefs were now obliging him to vote for Bernie, because Bernie cares for the poor, the needy, and the weak.
