Remember when one of the architects of RomneyCare told us that Mitt Romney’s socialized health care scheme was the prototype for ObamaCare? It seems socialist health care schemes isn’t the only thing Mitt Romney and Barack Obama have in common. They are both contemptuous of religious freedom, especially when it comes to forcing Christians to provide contraceptive and abortion services they may find morally objectionable.

Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND Action and the South Central L.A. Tea Party (SCLA TP) released a statement rebuking GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum and Rev. Franklin Graham — two leading Christian figures — for their timid response when questioned about President Barack Obama’s radical interpretation of Christian tenets.

As part of the resolution to the 1973 oil shock, the petrodollar was born when Richard Nixon convinced Saudi Arabia to only accept dollars for payment of oil in return for protecting their oil fields and a guaranteed return on investments in U.S. treasuries. How long will the rest of the world will accept a now near-zero return on money held in treasuries — in short, a U.S. fueled inflation — just to prop up a monetary system pieced together by Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger 40 years ago?

I can’t support Newt Gingrich for president with a wishy-washy record like his, but he deserves credit where credit is due. He is very good at keeping the focus where it belongs (on President Obama, and on the media lapdogs who support him) and defending even his fellow Republican competitors in the face of the real and greater threat. He did so during the debate last night by exposing media hypocrisy over Rick Santorum’s contraception opinions, and Barack Obama’s support of infanticide. Read more ›
Santorum Pivotal in Securing Bush Judicial Nominations
Back when there were GOP presidential candidates with a more consistently conservative record from which to choose, the main thing I held against Rick Santorum was his support of RINO Arlen Specter during Specter’s re-election campaign a few years ago. What I didn’t realize was that Santorum’s price for supporting Specter was a pledge from Specter not to stand in the way of President Bush’s judicial nominees, which will have lasting benefit for our Constitution and liberties for decades to come.

Rick Santorum recently spoke at a Tea Party event in Arizona, and despite the media mockery, refused to back down from the media-manufactured controversy over statements he made a few years ago regarding evil. Sadly, the man we elected president in 2008 doesn’t understand evil and fails to take it seriously. Instead, he apologizes for America, alienates our allies and appeases our enemies.

Watching this current communist Democrat regime causes a lingering feeling of being trapped in a twisted nightmare where the bad guys just keep on coming at you as you try to escape from some weird place with lots and lots of strange rooms. A couple of the many stories of the past week or so that make me want to scream have to do with this administration’s incessant bowing and scraping before the altar of the Islamists. By now, you have likely heard these stories, but I want to address them and give them the treatment they deserve.
