This Coming Season of Persuasions

This Coming Season of Persuasions

Lately, what the Associated Press produces, at their usual daily pace, has become expected doses of slanted and even unfounded presentations. Since the last election, the thought of both Houses being in Republican hands has infuriated the AP’s cadre to the point of approaching the trash bin of governmental propaganda. As such, this unprofessionalism deserves a proper review. Especially so since their slick innuendos will continue and increase as 2016 nears.

Many Are Frazzled Beyond Repair

Many Are Frazzled Beyond Repair

What more needs to be said about Mitt Romney? I mean, what can he undo, or even do, to attract more support? The man was in the driver’s seat after his initial debate with Barack Obama. It was a presidential massacre. On the night of the third and final debate, after his handlers mummified him, his last bright assertive stance but was cut short by CNN’s Candy Crowley. Romney lost for his impression of cowering when being challenged.

What Will Remain of America?

What Will Remain of America?

At what point will modern day Americans wake the hell up? We have lazed around, enjoying our non-exertive creature comforts while those who are diligent in their agendas haven’t missed a beat. At what point will we realize that it isn’t “global awareness,” “congenial compatibility” or as in this latest case, “religious pluralism.” It’s conquest and we are the damn targets!

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA)

Rep. Nunes’ Ignorance is Insulting

First off, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA-54%) is a seldom heard from California RINO with a less than stellar voting record. That is if our Constitution remains as the number one voting priority. Secondly, if he has to “understand why they,” the twenty-four dissidents, “voted the way they did,” well, I’m a retiree in far off Florida and I know why so what has blurred Nunes’ vision?

To Remember and Act Accordingly

To Remember and Act Accordingly

For those who sit speechless as the majority of half of one House succumbs to Presidential demands once again, we are now cornered into one irate position. Boehner is without clothes and voters are without patience. Don’t even try the insulting tag lines that the press was a factor or that “we the people” are aghast over another shutdown.

Upholding One’s Oath

Finally, we all will see what our highly paid and much vacationed career politicians are made of! Words fail to properly define, even describe what this Oval Office resident is attempting to do. However finally, I can without reservation, say that he is not my president.

The Wonder Of It All

The Wonder Of It All

Now, the wonder of it all is when a Jonathan Gruber publicly espouses his elitist doctrines. Where did this thinking come from and how dare he say such things! Actually, Americans have been treated to the content of his college lecturing since these are the morsels which students must master when seeking high grades.

America: More Is Needed

America: More Is Needed

How many American voters sense a growing decay with regards to the strictness of our loyalties, integrity and even common sense? I’m aware of the system named “gradualism;” however, at some point, shouldn’t there come a time for admitting that the movement of the clock’s hand is in the wrong direction? Our American journey has been gradually beset by a slew of irrelevancies. It’s time to consider some of these anti-American add ons.

Answering The AWOL GOP

With this midterm, wouldn’t it seem as a given that the GOP hierarchy would be salivating for its next go around? Especially so since it was an election for the taking in 2012. Now added to the mix is Obama’s unauthorized policies which have cause untold harm to our country. What more incentive does the GOP require?

Tongue Tied

Tongue Tied

Recently, my presence was requested at a dinner for out-of-towners from my friend’s youthful past. Owing to my conservative nature, opinionated and sometimes gruff replies, my lady friend asked that I avoid any talk of politics. This was largely due to her guest’s proud liberal background of living and teaching in Long Island.
