The video explains the difference in passenger car mileage between European countries and the US. I had heard from friends that travel regularly in Europe that European cars typically get higher mileage than comparable US automobiles, but I had no idea how much or why. I figured it probably had to do with government regulations and air quality demands. It’s much worse than that.

The conversation had to do with the health care debate and the requirement that emergency departments see and treat anyone that presents for care. This requirement is contained in The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA), enacted in 1986.

WTHR Channel 13 in Indianapolis has uncovered a disgraceful fraud that should be national news every evening until the problem is rectified. All workers, citizens, legal immigrants and illegal aliens are required to report earnings to the IRS. Without a Social Security Number illegals are issued an ITIN, an individual taxpayer identification number. With that illegals can then claim an “Additional Child Tax Credit” of up to $1000 dollars per claimed child. And that child can be a niece or nephew and live in Mexico!
