This morning I did a radio interview concerning our recent First Amendment victory at Boca Raton, Fla. (which happens to be our second one in a year), and the show host was mentioning that the Christian religion is under incessant attack in public schools. He complained that soon we would not have the “right” to say certain things in public schools. Does that sound like the America you know? I then said to him, “You never lost the right.”

Can You Imagine the National Debt in 2042?
The past 3 years the $16.7 trillion national debt has grown at an average rate of 10.5 percent, while nominal Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has averaged just 3.85 percent. This is one of the primary reasons why the debt has soared to 103.8 percent of GDP at the beginning of this year and will continue rising.

Today, the House of Representatives passed an amendment offered by Rep. Kristi Noem (R-SD) that will promote economic development in Indian Country. This amendment was included as part of H.R. 208, the Supporting Knowledge and Investing in Lifelong Skills (SKILLS) Act. Noem’s amendment, which was co-authored by Reps. Tom Cole and Don Young, would guarantee funding for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian workforce development grants.

Medicare did not help pay for the portable oxygen bill of a couple from Saint John, Indiana. The couple visited me twice to get my help. I have a good record of helping senior citizens with Medicare related medical bill problems when the problems are caused by mistakes. But, I can’t help a client if the problem is caused by a government policy. It was a government policy that caused this couple’s medical bill problem.
