I recently had the opportunity to meet, in Washington, D.C., David Friedman, President Trump’s nominee to be America’s next ambassador to Israel. I was impressed by this brilliant and passionate man, an observant Jew, a fluent Hebrew speaker (he read my necklace that has my name, Star, in Hebrew), who has the values crucial to our important Israeli ally. The Return of the One that Got Away
When I converted to Christianity it became apparent that I could not reconcile my faith in God with my musical listening tendencies. I soon found myself sorting through my compact disc collection and discarding those which I deemed incompatible with my Christian worldview. With the exception of a few U2 albums, my complete collection, predominantly comprised of high profile hard rock selections from the eighties and nineties, had been completely purged.

It is easier to see what is happening when a person commits suicide than when a whole nation does the same thing. National suicide takes place when a society makes deliberate choices which doom it to destruction. America is on the path of national suicide. That path is down the road of exploding drug addictions, sexual immorality, the destruction of the family and the forsaking of God’s Holy Law. The talking heads in our land will not tell you the reality that this has all occurred by design.
