National GUN Appreciation Day
The National Gun Appreciation Day website calls for gun-loving Americans to go to your local gun store, range or gun show on January 19 with your constitution, American flag and your ‘Hands OFF My Guns’ sign to send a loud and clear message to congress and President Obama.” In Rapid City, this will be specifically observed at First Stop Gun Shop on Main Street (and perhaps other locations).

You may be familiar with a series of TV commercials in which one child tells younger children how good kids have it today. In one of those commercials, the older child was about 8 and the younger ones about 5.
