This is a clip from a video of the South Dakota Legislative Crackerbarrel in Rapid City, Feb. 11, 2012. A member of the audience asked why the legislature seemed willing to harass citizens with intrusive driver’s license requirements on one hand, and on the other go soft on illegal aliens. Though the drivers license requirements were discussed at some length, no answer was forthcoming from from any of the “Republican” legislators as to why legislation to control the illegal alien problem has been killed by “Republicans.”

Obamacare and the Catholic Church: It Isn’t About Contraception!

Obamacare and the Catholic Church: It Isn’t About Contraception!

This government’s recent volley across the bow of religious freedom—in the form of the birth control mandate placed upon religious institutions—is nothing less than a direct assault on individual freedom of conscience and religion. For the Christian, this is not a partisan issue involving rival political parties nor is it a matter of women’s reproductive rights.

Why Does it Stink to be a Conservative?

Though I’m not a big fan of the crude and vulgarly-connotated term “suck,” this latest Firewall video from Bill Whittle carries such an insightful and needs-to-be-heard message that I decided to feature this video here anyway. It stinks to have to be the grownup in the room and inform people that there is no such thing as a free lunch.
