Girls With Guns: NRA Women

Girls With Guns: NRA Women

This is a great new ad to promote NRA Women, a group about women who love guns. They are armed and fabulous. I’ve already taken my daughter out shooting many times. Have you gone shooting with a woman you care about? If not, maybe you should. It’s important to their safety, and it’s important to our freedom. And it’s fun, too!

Bringing Back Some Made in the USA

Bringing Back Some Made in the USA

When was the last time you saw a “Made in USA” stamp on a product? We simply don’t make that much stuff in the United States anymore and the eulogy has already been written on the American manufacturing sector. Countries like China take advantage of cheap child labor and manipulate their currency, making it near impossible for American companies to compete. How can the USA ever compete again with foreign manufacturers?

Religious Freedom Under Assault in the Military

The very troops who defend our religious freedom are at risk of having their own taken away. Last week, anti-Christian and left-wing activists met at the Pentagon with military officials to discuss pressing issues in the military. What issues would be of such importance to gain such a high-level hearing? According to these far-left consultants, religion is one of the chief problems plaguing our troops.

How Does Washington Work? Follow the Money

How Does Washington Work? Follow the Money

If you’ve ever signed a petition or called your senator and been left feeling that your voice hasn’t really being heard, you probably aren’t being paranoid. Make no mistake. Money is a megaphone in the world of politics. It amplifies the voice of the special interests in Washington in a way that the average citizen simply cannot match. I daresay our founding fathers never intended for government to exist as a for-profit, self-seeking enterprise.

Global Warming Theory Feels the Heat

It is a bad time to be a global warming believer. Seventeen straight years of climate stability will straighten even the most ardent true believers hockey stick. What is a good faithful servant to do with the facts that not even their most ardent leaders can deny?

Where Kiss Got Beth

Where Kiss Got Beth

If you’re a child of the 70s as I am, you probably remember the Kiss song “Beth.” If you’re like me, you probably enjoyed the more hard-driven Kiss songs better, but this one was undeniably a big hit for them. Ever wondered what the scene described in the song looked like? I have…and my imagination was somewhat similar to this video, believe it or not.

Taxpayer Largess for Illegal Aliens

Taxpayer Largess for Illegal Aliens

This is part of what you get when you make a mockery of the U.S. Constitution’s limits on government. This is what you get when you embrace socialism. You also get $100,000 in taxpayer-funded freebies for terrorists. Novel idea: let’s start obeying the U.S. Constitution and acting like Americans instead of suicidal idiot socialists.

Radiocarbon in Diamonds

Radiocarbon in Diamonds

If carbon 14 decays relatively quickly (in just a few thousand years, there would be no significant amount left in a sample), how can an object supposedly millions or billions of years old have significant amounts of C14?  Both assumptions can’t be correct. The obvious answer: the object can’t be millions or billions of years old.

Federal Government Scarier than Muslim Terrorism?

Federal Government Scarier than Muslim Terrorism?

Those of us who pay attention, who are not doing the zombie shuffle through life, take polling results with more than a grain of salt. But, I found the results of a couple of post-Boston bombing, small-sample polls conducted by Fox News and the Washington Post to be interesting for what they say about our perception of the federal government.

Polls: Americans Fear Govt More than Terrorists

It seems the results of two recent polls found Americans are more concerned that government is or will overstep its authority than they are about terrorism. In a day and age where the TSA gropes you (and your children and grandma) when you go to the airport, and with the spectre of drones and drone strikes within our own borders, and statism on the march through ObamaCare, the EPA and a host of other government intrusions, it is fast becoming apparent that the answer is, “Yes, government is going too far into our personal lives, even under the auspices of protecting us from terrorism.”
