Occupests in Los Angeles doing what the Occupy Wall Street movement does best: assaults and contempt for law and order. In two different incidents in Los Angeles on the Marxist holiday May Day, Occupy LA Marxists assaulted a female police officer, and assaulted several police officers from behind with a large wooden instrument.

‘Dear Abby’ Gets it Dead Wrong on the Bible and Homosexuality

This past Monday, I read the advice columns that used to be written by identical twin sisters, Pauline Phillips and Esther “Eppie” Lederer, known to us by their pen names as Abigail VanBuren—“Dear Abby”—and Ann Landers. A mother wrote a letter explaining that her son had revealed to her and her husband that he is a homosexual. She said they love their son, as do their other sons and daughters, but are having trouble understanding what the Bible says about homosexuality. Unfortunately, the mother got nothing but bad advice from the columnist.

Dan Savage: Bully

They used to arrest middle-aged perverts who get their jollies from talking dirty to children. Today, they get a television show, a nationally syndicated column, a lecture circuit and multiple visits to the Obama White House. You know: “Forward.” The irony is palpable. Dan Savage, sex columnist and founder of the LGBT anti-bullying “It Gets Better” campaign, has been outed-not as a homosexual, but as an anti-Christian bigot and bully.

Personally, I can’t understand why the “don’t ask: don’t tell” rule doesn’t apply in everyday life. Actually, I’m thinking more on the lines of, “I’m not asking, so don’t be telling me that stuff. Bibles are Strong Intrenchments

The Star-Spangled Banner was written while the British bombed the fort named for him. This was James McHenry, who died MAY 3, 1816. He was a physician in the Revolutionary War, a member of the Continental Congress and a signer of the Constitution. He was Secretary of War under Washington and Adams, helping to plan the Military Academy at West Point, and was president of the first Bible Society in Baltimore.
