Are You One of the Old and Confused?

Are You One of the Old and Confused?

What has happened, America? Why have we given over to this change from the founding values of our great nation to the lawlessness we see today? The Bible clearly says in Proverbs 24:21, “… meddle not with them that are given to change.” So why are we changing?

Tea Party Coming of Age

140,000 comments. That’s how many groups and individuals weighed in on the Internal Revenue Service’s proposed regulations that would normalize the IRS’ targeting of tea party groups, and a review of a sampling of these comments reveals a startling new reality – they overwhelmingly came from conservative/limited government supporters. It seems the tea party has grown up, and not a second too soon.

When Obama’s Worlds Collide

When Obama’s Worlds Collide

Based on his words and actions (as well as his silence and inactions), we have witnessed a president who has emboldened two zealous and highly determined radical groups – progressive activists and militant Islamists. It would seem these two flourishing movements would be diametrically opposed, but under closer inspection, some commonalities are revealed.

Tea Party: GOPs Natural Ally is the Establishment’s Greatest Enemy

Error in Arizona: When Facts Reveal Cowardice

Error in Arizona: When Facts Reveal Cowardice

At 680 words, Arizona’s SB 1062 didn’t take a yeoman’s effort to read. But it was an effort, unfortunately, that few people bothered to make. If they had, the debate over the state’s religious liberty measure would have been met by more yawns than pitchforks.

Travesty in Arizona: An Open Letter

I cannot fathom that Gov. Brewer sold out a moral society for a football game!! ONE lousy football game? I know the NFL is influential, and the NFL did threaten to withdraw the game next year from AZ. So let them. I would have called their bluff. Let them waste their money rescheduling it elsewhere. The Super Bowl has become the equivalent of the Roman sport of throwing Christians to the lions anyway.

FCC Regroups on News Monitoring

A recent Wall Street Journal oped by Ajit Pai, the sole Republican commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), called attention to an alarming study commissioned by the agency that would have “ascertain[ed] the process by which stories are selected, station priorities (for content, production quality, and populations served), perceived station bias, perceived percent of news dedicated to each of the eight [critical information needs], and perceived responsiveness to underserved populations.”
