With each passing day it becomes more apparent that President Obama has little respect for the intelligence of his ideological opponents. Stymied by existing law limiting the government’s involvement in the ethically troubling area of “scientific” human embryonic stem cell work, the President crafted a workaround based on rhetorical hair-splitting, issued an executive order, and the dollars began flowing. But Judge Royce Lambert saw it for what it was: a distinction without a difference.

An Illustration of Progressivism
A great illustration of Barack Obama’s new “Foward” campaign slogan, as well as the “progressive” nature of Progressivism, otherwise known as liberalism.

It looks like the Marxists with the Occupy Wall Street movement are moving up a notch and graduating to full-blown terrorism. Drug use, defacating on police cars, insulting police and destroying public/private property wasn’t enough for these America-haters. As CNN and other outlets are reporting, a group of Occupy Cleveland goons conspired to blow up a 4-lane bridge south of Cleveland, Ohio.

You give them an inch and they’ll just keep fighting for more inches, says Steve Cheyne, a local Klamath River farmer and board member of the Bucket Brigade. He is referring to the many environmentalists and government agencies pushing for restoration of the Klamath River in Oregon and also for the removal of four dams within the river.

Pro-life Democratic congressional candidate Woodrow Wilcox is fighting the unfair tactics of leaders of the Democratic Party in Indianapolis. Wilcox is challenging pro-abortion Congressman Andre Carson in the Democratic primary on Tuesday. Wilcox complains that the leaders of the Indianapolis-Marion County Democratic Party have refused to give him a list of current Democratic precinct committeemen and that the Democratic Party representative on the Marion County Election Board voted to refuse to give Wilcox and other unslated Democratic candidates a list of Democratic Party voters which Indiana law requires be made available to primary candidates.

Take a look at the press releases from progressive organizations that deny voter fraud is a serious problem and the organization that appears to be out in front these days is the George Soros funded Advancement Project. DOJ attorneys are “philosophically opposed” to enforcing Section 8 of the 1993 National Voter Registration Act, says J. Christian Adams, the former DOJ voting rights section attorney.

I came across a promotional video for a campaign to abolish the word “illegal” when referring to people who are in our country illegally. Yes, that is correct. These leftists who are pushing for the dismantling of United States national sovereignty and promoting open borders are seeking to hijack the very language we use to describe criminal aliens. Of course, that is nothing new.

I think we’d all like to be able to generate electricity using a method that is completely clean and has absolutely zero unpleasant byproducts. However, since we have thus far not even come close to finding a way to squat down and push out such a method, grownups realize that coal and oil are the only viable energy sources for the foreseeable future. President Obama is apparently not in this number, since he is carrying out a campaign to bankrupt the coal industry with useless and counterproductive environmentalist regulations.

MAY 1, 305 AD, the most powerful man in the world, Emperor Diocletian, stepped down from ruling the Roman Empire. He had required all the military to worship pagan Roman gods, thus forcing Christians out of the military. With Christians out, he used the military to persecute Christians with extreme severity.
