SD Legislators Praised for Voting Against Anti-Term Limits Bill

U.S. Term Limits (USTL), the leader in the national movement to limit terms for elected officials, today sent a letter of praise and thanks to each of the 23 South Dakota senators who voted to defeat anti-term limits bill HJR 1002. The bill would have created a referendum to weaken term limits from eight years to 12, even though no one outside of the state’s political class had called for a change.
