A Proud Message

My college room mate from 1962 asked myself and Carol to join him and his wife on a trip to Parris Island, S.C. Since I have been “Uncle Jim” to all their children and grandchildren for forever, I was honored. As we all are inundated daily with levels of anti-Americanism, I thought it would be worthwhile to inform freedom loving Americans that, yes, freedom rings and it particularly rings loud and proud at Parris Island.

May God Thy Gold Refine

May God Thy Gold Refine

In an America that seems to be run by those who loathe and hate this great country and everything it stands for, every patriot needs a little pick-me-up every now and then, a reminder of what it is we are being patriotic about, and what it is that we need to continue fighting for.

Honoring the Office

Honoring the Office

I have been exposing this administration on my radio show for years concerning their criminal conduct. I once had a radio station manager approach me because I was calling out Obama’s corruption on the air. He admitted that he knows President Obama is “un-American, reckless, ignorant, dangerous, and even corrupt.” But then he went on to say, “He is still the president of the United States, and we need to honor him and his office as such.”

Liberal Adults Ridicule Students’ Patriotism

Liberal Adults Ridicule Students’ Patriotism

This incident is truly deplorable, and illustrative of the shameful (if they had any) contempt the Left has for America. Public School 90 in Coney Island recently decided to ban Lee Greenwood’s song “God Bless the USA’ at a graduation ceremony (while leaving uplifting and edifying songs like Justin Bieber’s “Baby”). U.S. Congressman Bob Turner (R-NY) gathered with several parents and students outside the school where the kids sang “God Bless the USA.” Apparently it was simply intolerable to several liberal adults who derided and yelled at the kids, telling them what they were doing was “ridiculous” and shameful and that “You all burn in hell!”

A New National Anthem for American Liberals

A New National Anthem for American Liberals

You may have heard about liberal “journalist” Bill Press and his contempt for the American national anthem (not a big surprise, since liberals usually hold anything about America or symbolic of American values in contempt). This video from Alfonzo Rachel begins with a clip of Press telling us of his contempt for the national anthem. Zo then provides a good national anthem for American liberals, one that reflects their values much better than the original (the one that real Americans still believe in).

Did you remember that one day this week?

Did you remember that one day this week?

Every day of our lives–except one–we are preparing for the future. Whether we are making our monthly house payments or going to the grocery store, we are looking forward to all of our tomorrows. But that one day, last Monday, we paused in our preparations for the future to reflect on the past, especially to remember those who have gone before us–and especially those who have given their lives, their futures so we can have our tomorrows.

Obama Replaces the States on American Flag

Obama Replaces the States on American Flag

Have you heard about the desecration of the American flag perpetrated by the Democrats in Lake County, Florida? Seems they took an American flag and put a picture of Barack Obama over the stars in the flag. As contemptible as this behavior was, it nevertheless serves as a “teachable moment” to illustrate some important truths about how the Democrat Party views American and the principles for which the American flag stands.

Looking at an Act of Valor

Looking at an Act of Valor

There aren’t a whole lot of movies I hear about that I say, “I’ve GOT to see that!” but “Act of Valor” is one. This isn’t just a movie about Navy SEALS; SEALS are the actors in the movie. They use real weapons and real tactics (though not all of their bag of tricks is revealed–not by a long shot), and did some of their filming on a life-fire military range.
