On the the Behavior of the Family Heritage Alliance: An Open Letter

A couple of days ago, I sent this letter to the Family Heritage Alliance. Since the actions of FHA with which I take great exception were public, I am now making this letter public.

Howie: South Dakota’s Real Conservative

Howie: South Dakota’s Real Conservative

Many True Conservatives has sent out another mailer, similar to but a little different from the last one a few days ago. If you’re a conservative South Dakotan, you should consider voting for a real conservative instead of throwing away your vote on a RINO whose record proves he will betray your conservative values, if given the chance. Don’t give him the chance.

While I would normally consider this a good thing, I was gravely disappointed in the voter guide because it misrepresented Mike Rounds’ position on the issues.

Ruining RINO Rounds Run

Ruining RINO Rounds Run

Bloomberg did an interesting article on the only conservative in the South Dakota. U.S. Senate race, conservative independent Gordon Howie. Wouldn’t it be cool to have another conservative–like Ted Cruz–in the U.S. Senate who actually wants to promote conservative values, and win?

Mike Rounds

Mike Rounds Rated ‘Somewhat Conservative’

Well, that’s a ringing endorsement if I’ve ever heard one. “Somewhat conservative” is how iVoterGuide.com, linked in at the South Dakota Family Policy Council, rated the establishment-bought GOP candidate Mike Rounds. As someone I really look up to once said, I’d rather a person be either hot or cold.
