Six Reasons to Honestly Doubt the Donald (Let’s Not Do 2008 Again)

When Trump was firing people, putting American beauties on parade and putting money in the Clinton Foundation, others were fighting for the nation. Where was Trump when Ted Cruz battled on the Senate floor for twenty one hours in 2013 to stop Obamacare? Where was trump when Scott Walker took on the unions against all odds in Wisconsin? Where was the Donald when Jeb Bush lifted his state to become one of the greatest fiscal success stories of the decade?

Moral Cowardice Spells Defeat

Sometimes it takes a lot of courage to stand up against a seemingly formidable opponent. But if we would only remember that history is filled with the suffering and failure of those who have embraced cowardice, compromise and appeasement, maybe we would realize that the consequences of shrinking back are often far worse than the cost of fighting for what is right.

Freedom or Freebies

Freedom or Freebies

As I read my daily devotional at Men of Integrity this morning, I was reminded of the choice before us on Election Day today. The Bible passage today was from Numbers 13-14. The devotional discussed how the people of Israel had been promised a land of prosperity, after having been miraculously put on that path by an all-powerful God. All they had to do was continue following God and go in and take ownership of the land.

A Helpful Recall is Invaluable to Freedom

A Helpful Recall is Invaluable to Freedom

Many Obama supporters from 2008 uniformly pleaded innocence as to his hidden socialistic nature. However, Obama’s present day throngs now assemble without such flimsy and/or irresponsible pretenses. Today, his support is for a platform which is diabolically un-American. Today, there are no excuses of ignorance or good intentions. Today, his platform of revolution is out for all to see.

An Open Letter to Obama Voters

An Open Letter to Obama Voters

Did you vote for Barack Obama in 2008? A lot of people did – obviously. In life, we sometimes find that the idea of a thing is far better than the thing itself. As a boy, I once ordered, from a comic book, a pair of X-ray glasses that promised to allow me to see the bones beneath my hand (my motives were a bit more ignoble). Once they did arrive, I ripped into the package and put them on, darting my head to-and-fro. It’s difficult to express my level of disappointment.

Stoic Yet Instinctual

Then again, isn’t that exactly what rulers are; stoic? My dictionary defines this condition as, “One who is seemingly indifferent to or unaffected by joy, grief, pleasure or pain.” That just about sums up the man and his Administration!

Our Need for Restructuring

Our Need for Restructuring

The majority of Americans realize that our problem is not revenue but in the spending of that revenue. We act as if dollars will cure everything; similar to the alcoholic’s rationalizing about the next drink. America needs to sober up! It would help if those we elect soberly agree.

President Obama’s Shrinking Workforce

President Obama’s Shrinking Workforce

Fewer Americans are employed today than when Barack Obama became president in January 2009. That’s right, the actual number of people with jobs is down by 86,000 since Obama took over the economy. In August alone, 119,000 fewer workers have jobs.

Socialism is as Socialism Does

Ronald Reagan taught us, “How do you tell a communist? Well, it’s someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It’s someone who understands Marx and Lenin.”

2016: Obama’s America Poised to Finish at #1

Dinesh D’Souza’s new film “2016: OBama’s America” is making some serious waves right out of the gate. Oh, of course, it has the Obama Administration’s Ministry of Public Enlightenment (aka the “mainstream” media) sneering and in some cases hysterical. But it’s also doing amazingly well at the box office for a documentary. Some reports indicate it may finish the week at #1, even ahead of the action-packed “The Expendables 2″ film.”
