In questions of power then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the constitution. — Thomas Jefferson

The Real Force Behind Earth Day

David Pepe

As "Earth Day" is upon us, let us look at the demonic and leftist philosophy which is driving this "Baalistic" ideology. What seems to have a strangle hold on America and the world at present is the godless totalitarian socialistic environmental movement of today.

He’s Not There!

Paula Dagnel

During the time of the early Church, when one believer would greet another, he would say “He is risen!” And the other believer would respond “He is risen, indeed!” I’d love to see that brought back to the present day; and if not every time we greet our fellow believer, at the very least, on this Easter weekend.

War is Coming!

JD Longstreet

The Ukraine is effectively gone. The moment Russian forces set foot in the Baltic States they will face resistance from NATO troops. The US will be committed -- as an attack on ANY NATO member is considered an attack upon all NATO members.

Rising Russian Nazism in the Ukraine

Rick Manning

Jews in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk have reportedly been told to register themselves, their families and their property by pro-Russian separatists under the threat of expulsion from the country and confiscation of their property cry out for universal condemnation. Even if these reports turn out to be disinformation or fallacious the fact that they are published is enough.

On Resurrection Day

Michael Day

This year, on April 20th Christians will celebrate Easter — that is, in most Western churches. In 325 the Roman Emperor Constantine assembled the First Council of Nicaea, consisting of approximately 318 bishops, each of whom was allowed to bring two priests and three deacons with him, making the total number in attendance perhaps 1800 or more. One of the items on their agenda was to agree on when to celebrate Easter.

Free Speech, Under the Homosexual Boot

Bob Ellis

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality and Canadian pro-family activist Bill Whatcott were recently arrested in Regina, Saskatchewan for telling the truth about homosexual behavior and abortion. How's that for the "open mindedness" and "academic freedom" that universities always crow about?

Palm Sunday and the Den of Thieves

David Whitney

Palm Sunday is a glorious Sunday, when we recall that triumphal entry of Jesus into the city of Jerusalem. At that momentous point, the people recognize that Jesus is the Messiah, the King that was long promised in the writings of the prophets. As I was studying Luke’s account of Palm Sunday this week it struck me just how different that day was for Jesus in contrast with the crowd rejoicing about Him.

The Environmental Impact of Environmentalism

Rick Manning

The environmental orgy known as Earth Day has come and gone. In all the celebration, the one thing that is seemingly never asked is whether or not environmentalist policies by the government are actually helping the environment?

A Way Out for College Kids

American education is in trouble—that much seems to be a given. Our public schools and colleges are getting poor results, our young people are drowning in debt, new graduates can't find jobs, and our overall rankings in the world are pretty dismal. We are greatly in need of a transformation, but we need to think big, because the problem is huge.

Liberals in California Target Judges with Boy Scout Ties

Gina Miller

Give them an inch, and they’ll demand a mile. We warned you that the terrible decision by the Boy Scouts of America to allow openly homosexual boys into membership would only lead to further attacks against the organization by the militant homosexual Left. We were right, and the target is now judges who have ties to the Scouts.

E-Cigarette Ban: Ideology Over Common Sense

Ignorance amongst some politicians continues to rein as those who attack e-cigarettes in their war on tobacco are limiting the use of devices that help many smokers lessen or eliminate their tobacco dependency.

The Rightful Remedy

Guest Author

Two hundred thirty years after the Founders won American independence from a tyrannical monarch, the inheritors of their estate are facing a hard reality: liberty is jealously defended or it is lost. As all three branches of the federal government exercise powers beyond those granted, our God-given rights are under sustained assault. The question is: what is the remedy?

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the party over to the so-called moderates wouldn't make any sense at all." - Ronald Reagan, Nov. 10, 1964
