More Liberal Property Destruction, Disrespect for Law and Order

Police Station Vandalism

KTVU TV in San Francisco reports a band of thugs went out Monday night (gearing up for Marxist May Day?) and vandalized a police station and several nearby businesses and vehicles.  One SUV had the window knocked out and a lit flare tossed inside.

These marauders weren’t clearly identified as Occupy Wall Street protesters, but consider that this is the OWS modus operandi. Property destruction and contempt for law and order is what the OWS movement does best. Consider, too, that Leftists have been ginning up for the Marxist holiday May Day, and again this falls right in line with the Marxist ideology of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Dollars to dimes, there’s no doubt: this was the OWS crowd.

If you’re an American who hasn’t really followed current events for the past year or two, and maybe you don’t really know all that much about the differences between the Left and the Right, you really should pay close attention to the Occupy Wall Street movement. They are living out the anti-free market, class warfare rhetoric that liberals have been reciting for years. Unlike the political class who just talk or at the most vote Left, the Occupy Wall Street movement is DOING the rhetoric. They are taking the Marxist class envy mantra to its natural and logical conclusion.

So if you’re a “moderate” or similar political persuasion, maybe a person who is a single-issue voter for the Democrat Party (e.g. Social Security or such), or you have bought into the “the Democrats are for the little guy” rhetoric but you don’t really know for sure what the Left stands for, give the behavior of the Occupy Wall Street movement a real close look. Consider that the OWS rhetoric is the same rhetoric you’ve been hearing from Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the whole Hee-Haw gang for decades: hatred of the free market and anyone who has more than them. Consider that the Democrat Party embraced the OWS movement when it kicked off last year.

So when you’re thinking about where to put your vote this election year, remember these things, consider where the REAL extremism lies in politics today. Consider which party and which ideological movement is really in line with your values…and which is reminiscent of some third-rate country busy trying to destroy itself.

Then vote accordingly.

Protect the Free Market, Not Big Labor

Bill Wilson

As we pause this Labor Day to honor the indispensability of American workers – and the essential roles they play in advancing our economy and national fabric – we must also honestly examine the forces currently holding them back. And that starts with a basic acknowledgement that the sweat of our brows is producing diminishing returns – both for ourselves and our families.

Govt Worker Union Day

Rick Manning

Labor Day is the traditional last day of summer, often celebrated by final trips to the shore and followed by public pool closings and other signs that the world is battening down the hatches for colder weather. However what most don’t realize is that the day itself was originally created by organized labor to call attention to the contributions of workers.

Cryptic Medical Bills And Health Insurance

David John Marotta

With a third-party payer involved, health care providers don't need to please their patients to get paid. They need to please their patient's health insurance. If the insurance company isn't satisfied, it isn't going to pay. For this reason, hospital bills are generated with health insurance companies in mind. And health insurance companies, both public and private, have incentives to be difficult to please.

How We Told Our Kids About Sex

J. Matt Barber

Rocker Marilyn Manson, while certainly no role model for children, is, nonetheless, an intelligent chap. He at least calls it how he sees it. “This is the culture you’re raising your kids in,” he once warned of today’s godless, secularized America – one that he helped make so. “Don’t be surprised if it blows up in your face.” And blow up it will.

Why Worry When You Can Pray

Dr. Robert R. Owens

How can I watch with the contextual awareness of an historian the seemingly unstoppable advance of the progressives in their quest to re-build America in their own image without falling victim to the lure of apathy and the thrill of the games?

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the party over to the so-called moderates wouldn't make any sense at all." - Ronald Reagan, Nov. 10, 1964
