Though the war in which we are engaged is cultural, not civil, it tests whether this “nation: conceived in liberty . . . can long endure.” — U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, American Enterprise Institute speech, Feb 16, 2001

Liberals to Evil is Like Moths to a Flame

April 25, 2012   ·   By   ·   2 Comments

Reason.tv went to the Occupy Wall Street insanity-fest held at the Department of Justice in Washington D.C., and this is what they saw.

Isn’t it amazing how predictably the Left defends murderers, dirtbags, despots and evil in general?

Like….

  • Defending cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal
  • Bellyaching because crime rates have decreased as incarceration rates have increased (duh!  sounds like the public education system’s “new math” is still “working”)
  • Praising despotic regimes
  • We hate the death penalty for cold-blooded murderers in America, but we love Marxist dictatorships where the death penalty is imposed for disagreeing with your leader
  • America needs fair elections like those in Cuba and other Marxist dictatorships
  • “We can’t be free unless we end free-market capitalism
  • Using the word “liberation” and “socialism” anywhere together
  • We should put policemen, prosecutors and other representatives of the justice system in jail for 24 hours so they can “understand” what it is “they are doing to” people who show contempt for society by breaking our laws

Morally speaking, you can just about set your watch by liberals.  If it’s evil, they’re for it; if it’s good, they hate it.

For the 947,633rd time this week, I am forced to ask myself…

I know watching these occutards is a learning experience, but I just can’t stomach the image anymore.  I’d rather watch a stopped up toilet overflow.

Noted Psychiatrist: Transgenderism Is a Mental Disorder

Newswire

A well-known psychiatrist associated with Johns Hopkins Hospital has made a potentially groundbreaking claim that transgenderism is a “mental disorder” that merits treatment and that sex change is “biologically impossible.” Dr. Paul R. McHugh is the former psychiatrist-in-chief and the current Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry for John Hopkins. He recently wrote in the Wall Street Journal that people who promote sexual reassignment surgery are collaborating with and promoting a mental disorder.

U.S. corporations operate under the highest tax rate in the world. Canada just lowered theirs to just over 26 percent—a 14 percent savings simply by fleeing north across the border. The truth is that we don’t have a patriotism problem; America has a tax problem. And here is how to solve it.

Protect the Free Market, Not Big Labor

Bill Wilson

As we pause this Labor Day to honor the indispensability of American workers – and the essential roles they play in advancing our economy and national fabric – we must also honestly examine the forces currently holding them back. And that starts with a basic acknowledgement that the sweat of our brows is producing diminishing returns – both for ourselves and our families.

Govt Worker Union Day

Rick Manning

Labor Day is the traditional last day of summer, often celebrated by final trips to the shore and followed by public pool closings and other signs that the world is battening down the hatches for colder weather. However what most don’t realize is that the day itself was originally created by organized labor to call attention to the contributions of workers.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the party over to the so-called moderates wouldn't make any sense at all." - Ronald Reagan, Nov. 10, 1964
