Those nations are doomed to death who bury, in the corruption of criminal desire, the awful sense of an existing God, cast off the consoling hope of immortality, and seek refuge from despair in the dreariness of annihilation. Terrible, irrevocable doom! loudly pronounced, frequently repeated, strongly exemplified in the sacred writings, and fully confirmed by the long record of time. — Gouverneur Morris

A Message from Gina From the Rush Net

Dear Faithful Listeners,

I believe I have been caught in the “Rush Net” in the fallout from the Democrat operatives targeting his advertisers, station owners and big broadcasters. Many people in the higher levels of business have a tough time standing against even a phony “outrage” campaign by the Left–which is what this is.

The Left is hell-bent on silencing us, and they will not stop until none of us can publicly tell the truth about their evil agenda. Of course, not everyone tells the truth about them like I do, and my “style” does not sit well with those on the Left, wherever they may be.

My company has chosen to cancel my radio blog immediately, but I intend to continue writing my columns. I will have to decide on a schedule, whether I want to do one or two a week and on what days.

I want to thank you all for being such a wonderful audience. Over the past two years that I have been doing these radio blogs, I have heard from many of you. Your support and your prayers have been priceless to me.

You can keep up with my future columns by visiting the American Clarion link on the left. Or, if you would like to be added to my email blast list, just click the link to email me there on the left, too, and let me know. I will add you to my email list for when new columns are published.

Thank you, again, for having always listened! May the Lord bless and keep you.

~Gina

    Gina,
So sorry to hear about this weak-kneed decision by your station.  But other outlets are still available to you.  If I knew the station, or it’s affiliates, I’d let them know with my dollars.

      Thank you, Spouse!

At least one TEA Party group here in my area is getting together to contact Clear Channel and my station (http://www.newsradio1049fm.com/pages/gina.html) to let them know what they think of this irrational decision.  The Tea Party people said they were “stunned” about this and definitely not happy!

The support I have received here from listeners is priceless!

    Gina,
I wish I could say I can’t believe this has happened. Unfortunately this sort of censorship is becoming the norm in our increasingly “politically correct” socialist society. Your true and stark commentaries have always been right on the money. I can say I got your back and will make my voice heard, for what it is worth. Don’t give up the good fight, our country is worth it.

      Thank you, OldLoad!

I appreciate your support.  I wish all the listeners would make their voices heard, then at least corporate would know you all are out there.  There is no way of knowing how many people enjoyed the radio blogs, but I have heard from many listeners who took the time to email over the past two years.  There are more of US than there are of “them.”  THAT I know for sure.

A while back I saw your website, http://watsonworld.net/news.htm, and I was blown away that you had a link for me on it!  Again, thank you!  The archive link you have on your site will still be updated with each new column I write.

    Gina,

I strongly support your right to political free speech.  Even though I don’t always one hundred percent agree with your views, I believe you are a one hundred percent patriot.  As long as you can compete in the free market of modern media (which obviously, you can) you should have the equal right to be heard.  America needs your voice and others like it now more than ever.  Please stay strong.

      Thank you very much, ThinkWell!

The Left certainly knows how to whip up a storm. Best wishes to you.

      Thank you, John.

Operation Vigilant Eagle: Is This Really How We Honor Our Nation’s Veterans?

John W. Whitehead

Just in time for Memorial Day, we’re being treated to a generous serving of praise and grandstanding by politicians, corporations and others with similarly self-serving motives eager to go on record as being pro-military. We erect monuments for those who die while serving in the military, yet for those who return home, there’s little honor to be found. Making matters worse, thanks to Operation Vigilant Eagle, a program launched by the Department of Homeland Security in 2009, military veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are also being characterized as extremists and potential domestic terrorist threats.

501(c)(4) Political Activity Rules Already Clear

Robert Romano

In testimony before the House Ways and Means Committee, outgoing Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Commissioner Steven Miller’s suggested that the targeting of tea party and other groups was in part caused by Congress’ failure to provide “clear rules” on what constitutes political activity. But those rules are already clear, Americans for Limited Government President Nathan Mehrens noted.

I Don’t Believe it None

Carrie K. Hutchens

We are to believe, according to the pro-O media, that President Obama has survived the scandals and his ratings haven't dropped dangerously low. I don't believe it. Too much talk on the streets says differently. There are people who like to mess with the poll results, just because they can. There are people who swing back and forth on their opinions on any given day. And, there are people who are probably afraid their answers are being reported back to some central source for loyalty review.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
