Recently during the GOP primaries in the South, we heard the haughty derision from liberals that poll results seemed to indicate that a great many people in Alabama and Mississippi believe Barack Obama is a Muslim instead of the Christina he claims to be.
Well, how could anyone be so stupid as to believe that? I wonder what could have possibly led people to that conclusion?
It couldn’t have had anything to do with the racist, anti-American “church” Obama attended for 20 years, in which the pastor calls for God to “damn America” and embraces Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan.
It couldn’t have had anything to do with the fact that he attended an Islamic school in Indonesia as a child.
It couldn’t have had anything to do with his statement about the sound of Muslim prayers in the evening being so beautiful.
It couldn’t have had anything to do with his paling around with supporters of Islamic extremism.
It couldn’t have anything to do with Obama’s many reverent quotes from “the holy Quran” and the Hadith in his speeches.
It couldn’t have had anything to do with the fact that the president of the United States bowed to a Saudi king.
It couldn’t have anything to do with the fact that Obama sought to make our nation’s space agency more “Muslim-friendly.”
It couldn’t have anything to do with the Muslim radicals Obama invited to the White House.
It couldn’t have anything to do with Obama’s obvious contempt for the Christian heritage of America.
It couldn’t have anything to do with Obama’s dismal adherence to Christian tenets.
It couldn’t have anything to do with the statement from Obama’s counterterrorism advisor that jihad is a legitimate tenet of Islam.
It couldn’t have had anything to do with his disrespect for the nation and leader of Israel.
It couldn’t have had anything to do with his call for Israel to return to indefensible borders.
It couldn’t have had anything to do with the statement by the Egyptian foreign minister that Obama is a Muslim.
It couldn’t have anything to do with Obama’s support for the Ground Zero Victory Mosque.
It couldn’t have anything to do with Obama’s reverential burial of the terrorist who engineered the slaughter of nearly 3,000 Americans on 911.
Well, actually, these things might have led a reasonable person to conclude that maybe Barack Obama isn’t really a Christian but is instead a Muslim.
Well, actually, in addition to all this, this video below shows a clear animus toward Israel that is usually only seen from Muslim extremists. This video catalogs quite a bit of information that, in all candor, would lead any reasonable person to conclude that Barack Obama has a lot more affinity and sympathy with Islam than he does Christianity.
So are Southern voters off base…or is it Leftists in the “mainstream” media and elsewhere who are covering for Obama who are off base?

IRS Axe Man Cometh
South Dakota state legislators Representatives Stace Nelson (R-Fulton), Manny Steele (R-Sioux Falls), “Chip” Campbell (R-Rapid City), Don Kopp (R-Rapid City), Liz May(R-Kyle), Lance Russell (R-Hot Springs), and Senators Tim Begalka (R-Clear Lake), and Phil Jensen (R-Rapid City), join together to express deep concerns and opposition to the wide spread amnesty for illegal aliens proposed in US Senate Bill 744 being considered by Congress.
We have not forgotten the 2007 McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill that was killed in the face of intense outrage from the American people. This administration has engaged in criminal conduct by granting amnesty through presidential edict to certain illegal aliens. If we were outraged back in 2007 at the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill, we are now outraged to the hundredth power at the latest attempt by Congress to shove amnesty for illegal aliens down our throats.
South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard announced today that he will appoint Vern Larson of Vivian as Commissioner of School and Public Lands. Last month, Commissioner Jarrod Johnson resigned from office, effective Aug. 15. The Governor’s appointment of Larson will be effective at the same time.
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley today released the testing results of the ignition interlock devices. The devices were added to the 24/7 Sobriety Program in October of 2012. Since being added, 119 participants passed 124,771 tests with a pass rate of 99.5%.
Just in time for Memorial Day, we’re being treated to a generous serving of praise and grandstanding by politicians, corporations and others with similarly self-serving motives eager to go on record as being pro-military. We erect monuments for those who die while serving in the military, yet for those who return home, there’s little honor to be found. Making matters worse, thanks to Operation Vigilant Eagle, a program launched by the Department of Homeland Security in 2009, military veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are also being characterized as extremists and potential domestic terrorist threats.
