Santorum: Defense Cutters Need Remedial Math

February 22, 2012   ·   By   ·   0 Comments

Rick Santorum understands what’s bankrupting the United States, and it isn’t defense spending as the anti-American liberals claim.

As he points out, defense spending doesn’t even make up 20% of our budget, while unconstitutional social programs make up 60% of our budget.

As Santorum says, if you can’t look at the facts and figure out what’s driving us to a $15 trillion debt, a $1.5 trillion a year deficit, and financial insolvency, then you need a remedial math course.

Of course, just having the audacity to speak such truth is a courageous act in today’s culture of takers where about 50% of Americans don’t even pay income taxes.

We don’t need a Coddler-in-Chief like Barack Obama, and we don’t need a liberal-with-an-R-after-his-name like Mitt “RomneyCare” Romney.  We need a leader, and a leader demonstrates leadership by being able to speak hard truths and lead in directions some people are reluctant to go.

Rick Santorum is that leader.

In case you missed it, Rush Limbaugh interviewed Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) on his radio show earlier today. He tells the truth, tells it like it is, and ticks off the "mainstream" media and other liberals something fierce.

The Demagogue Party

Bob Ellis

Do you know what a "demagogue" is? Webster's dictionary defines demagogue as "a leader who makes use of popular prejudices and false claims and promises in order to gain power." Does that describe any politicians you know? Does that describe a particular political party that you've heard of?

House Republican Majority Predicated on a Lie

Robert Romano

In 2012, the Romney campaign and the Republican National Committee were fond of noting that “Since President Obama took office, the number of Americans receiving food stamps has increased from 31.9 million to 46.7 million, a record 46 percent increase.” But how many remember the May 21, 2008 vote by 100 House Republicans to override then-President George W. Bush’s veto of the 2008 Farm Bill?

Why Many Immigration Reformers are Fascists

Woodrow Wilcox

Fascists like power and profit for themselves. They believe that they are so smart that they can simply disregard the views of the common people. Fascists don’t really want to be bothered by things like constitutional law, democratic discussion, and opposition to their wishes. Once the fascists make a back room deal with their friends, they want to keep their part of the bargain and push through any law, regulation, or rule that will bring more power and profit to themselves and their friends. That is what is happening right now.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the party over to the so-called moderates wouldn't make any sense at all." - Ronald Reagan, Nov. 10, 1964
