Video: SD Legislators Discuss Proposed Spearfish Canyon Park

At the legislative crackerbarrel meeting in Rapid City today, a question was asked about the proposed state park in Spearfish Canyon.

The proposed state park in Spearfish Canyon, as well as the $2.5 million cost for which a property tax increase is being considered, were discussed. According to several legislators and audience members who were in attendance, there were approx. 600 people in attendance at a recent meeting on the issue, and it seemed the vast majority of those attending were opposed to the proposal.
