Tea Party

Wanted: A Third Party

A recent Gallup poll indicates record support for a third party in the United States. I still don’t believe a third party is the best answer right now. It would almost certainly take too long for even a new conservative party to get up to speed and making electoral victories; in the meantime, any remaining hope of turning around our once-great nation will probably evaporate. But obviously the American people are getting impatient with the current pathetic state of affairs.

Fleecing the Taxpayer in the Age of Petty Tyrannies

Fleecing the Taxpayer in the Age of Petty Tyrannies

We labor today under the weight of countless tyrannies, large and small, carried out in the name of the national good by an elite class of government officials who are largely insulated from the ill effects of their actions. We, the middling classes, are not so fortunate. It’s the endless, petty tyrannies inflicted on an overtaxed, overregulated, and underrepresented populace that occasionally nudge a weary public out of their numb indifference and into a state of outrage.

Welfare Gone Wild Decimates Wal-Mart

Welfare Gone Wild Decimates Wal-Mart

The takers went nuts at Wal-mart stores in Springhill and Mansfield, LA over the weekend when a glitch in the food stamp program left EBT cards with no spending limits on them. Liberals, who always seek to excuse any immoral behavior, would have us believe that poverty drives people to immoral behavior, that when people don’t have as much money as they’d like, they are forced by their circumstances to behave immorally.

Photos: Mount Vernon

Photos: Mount Vernon

These are some pictures I took during my family’s recent visit to Mount Vernon, George Washington’s home and farm, in Virginia south of Washington D.C. You can see the front side of the house, including the covered walkways that connected the main house to the kitchen and other areas. No pictures were allowed inside the house, but I have several of the area behind the house, Washington’s original tomb, the tomb to which he was later moved, and some of the farming area around the Potomac River.

Protesters Bring Barricades to Tyrant-in-Chief in the White House

Protesters Bring Barricades to Tyrant-in-Chief in the White House

Did you hear about the veterans and other protesters who broke through the Barry-cades at the World War II Memorial yesterday? Apparently some protesters (maybe many of the same ones) took some barricades over to the White House and dumped them in front of the north White House lawn as a message to the Tyrant-in-Chief occupying the White House. You could see a number of veteran and Tea Party symbols within the crowd. It’s a wonderful thing to see free Americans stand up against narcissism and tyranny from those who were ostensibly elected to represent us.

Give Them an Inch

Give Them an Inch

Let’s see, the government had three years and the entire resources of the federal government and they can’t build a website that works. Now we have a website that won’t let you leave, is open to hackers, presents people with insurance they can’t afford and we are going to fine, excuse me, tax anyone without insurance who doesn’t use it. These people are making the DMV look efficient.

Republican Genius: Budgeting One Item At A Time

Republican Genius: Budgeting One Item At A Time

Something refreshing is happening in Congress. For the first time in years, our legislative process finally has the chance to cut spending in a nontraditional but highly democratic way by passing a series of small consecutive spending bills. This partisan deadlock offers us a novel opportunity to reach consensus: pass the budget one line item at a time (often described as “passing the budget piecemeal” by its liberal opponents).

Seven wanted Palestinians were arrested overnight in a joint IDF-Israel Police operation in Hebron. During searches inside their homes, forces discovered two M-16 assault rifles, an M-1 rifle, a pistol, two shotguns, two sniper rifles and a substantial amount of bullets, among other findings. Insanity and Humiliation

Many supporters of Israel express utter bewilderment that the Jewish state, alone among the nations of the world, allows this murderous aggression by Palestinian Arab brutes to proceed day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year.
