The Word of God has warned us, so we are not surprised when people inspired by the forces of darkness screech and wail against God’s Truth.  Some of the most vicious, anti-Christian, anti-truth people in the world are the radical, homosexual activists, and among them, not many are as vile as Dan Savage.

Savage is a twisted, sex columnist who started the “It Gets Better Project,” a propaganda tool targeting kids, which pushes the homosexual lifestyle on them under the guise of an “anti-bullying” campaign.

Ted Cruz 2016

From their website is this description,

“The It Gets Better Project was created to show young LGBT people the levels of happiness, potential, and positivity their lives will reach – if they can just get through their teen years. The It Gets Better Project wants to remind teenagers in the LGBT community that they are not alone — and it WILL get better.”

That is a damnable lie.  Numerous studies have shown that depression, drug abuse and suicide rates for homosexuals are much higher than among the normal population—yes, I said “normal”!  It is detestable to lie to young people, encouraging them to embrace homosexuality, claiming it will make them happy in the long run.

At the About.com website is a report from 2008 which states, in part,

Woodrow Wilcox

“According to a new study, which analyzed 25 earlier studies regarding sexual orientation and mental health, homosexuals and bisexuals are about 50% more likely than their heterosexual counterparts to suffer from depression and abuse drugs.

The researchers also found that the risk of suicide jumped over 200% for those who had engaged in a homosexual lifestyle.”

The column goes on to quote the lead researcher on the study who blames bullying and lack of social acceptance for those increased problems among the homosexual population.

That is not the real reason.  When a person violates God’s natural order for human behavior, whether it is through sexual deviancy or any other sinful behavior which runs counter to God’s natural law, that person will invariably be miserable.  All manner of sinful behavior leaves the person who engages in it unhappy and unfulfilled—at the very least.  This is especially true of homosexuality, which God has described as abominable and detestable to Him.

Dan Savage, the vicious homosexual radical who has said the most despicable things about those who disagree with him, was giving a speech last Friday in Seattle.

As reported by Focus on the Family’s CitizenLink,

“A group of high school journalism students attending a conference called ‘Journalism on the Edge’ in Seattle over the weekend felt they were pushed over the edge by syndicated sex advice columnist Dan Savage.

Savage, the creator of the two-year-old It Gets Better Project, which encourages teens struggling with same-sex attractions to embrace homosexuality, was invited to give a keynote address last Friday at the JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention.

Students were expecting him to talk about bullying. But they also got an earful about birth control, sex, and Savage’s opinions on the Bible.

A 17-year-old from California who was attending with half a dozen other students from her high school yearbook staff, was one of several students to walk out in the middle of Savage’s speech.

‘The first thing he told the audience was, ‘I hope you’re all using birth control!’’ she recalled. Then ‘he said there are people using the Bible as an excuse for gay bullying, because it says in Leviticus and Romans that being gay is wrong. Right after that, he said we can ignore all the ‘B.S.’ in the Bible.’

‘I was thinking, ‘This is not going a good direction at all,’ Then he started going off about the Bible. He said somehow the Bible was pro-slavery. I’m really shy. I’m not really someone to, like, stir up anything. But all of a sudden I just blurted out, ‘That’s bull!’

As she and several other students walked out of the auditorium, Savage noticed them leaving and called them ‘pansies.’”

This freak is speaking to high school kids!  This man who is supposedly an anti-bullying crusader is perhaps the biggest bully out there.  For him to go before these kids and say these kinds of things, to call Bible-believing high school students “pansies” is sickening, but I suppose that is his goal—to sicken those who oppose his hellish message.

Savage certainly has a record of saying things that would make the ancient, smoking-grease-spot-residents of Sodom and Gomorrah proud.  Savage has invited former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain to perform oral sex on him.  He has wished all Republicans were “f-ing dead.”  He has said things about Rick Santorum that I cannot easily describe, because they are so heinous, and through all of it, Savage is lauded and uplifted by Hollywood celebrities and media minions of Hell.  Even Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) has lent his support for Savage’s “It Gets Better Project.”

Of all the reprehensible things Dan Savage says and does, the most sinister part of his sodomite crusade is his targeting of children.  Jesus has very strong words for those who would hurt children and cause them to stumble.

As Peter LaBarbera, President of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, points out,

“Savage is probably the leading activist today working to normalize homosexuality to children and young people – one of the most evil things any person can do (because sexual sin is destructive and our Creator calls homosexual behavior ‘detestable’).  Jesus hates the corruption of youth: ‘Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him [if] a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.’ (Mark 9:42).  Now Savage has his own show on MTV (‘Savage U,’ beginning April 3), which could become another huge platform to degrade kids’ morals.”

People who peddle perversion to our kids will one day pay a terrible, unimaginable price if they do not turn from their wicked ways and embrace the free gift of salvation offered by Jesus.

By preying on children, people like Dan Savage become the most despicable among us.  He offers children and young adults lies from Hell when he encourages them to embark on a homosexual lifestyle that he assures will make them happy.  He lies when he says that people who speak out against homosexuality are “bullies” and “bigots.”  As I have pointed out before, the “anti-bullying” campaign is nothing more than the latest platform of the radical homosexual Left to indoctrinate our school kids with their perverse agenda and to gain more young recruits into their dead-end, homosexual club.

People like Dan Savage are only offering Hell on a silver platter to vulnerable, impressionable kids, and one day he will be sorry for doing so.  But, thankfully there are many Jewish and Christian warriors who offer real help and real hope to people of all ages who may be dealing with unwanted same-sex attraction.  Groups like Jonah International, Positive Alternatives to Homosexuality (P.A.T.H), Exodus International and others provide truthful answers and support for those desiring to fight and overcome same-sex attraction.

Other ministries work to shed light on the radical homosexual movement’s activities and agenda in our nation.  Two tireless groups are Americans for Truth About Homosexuality and Mass Resistance.  To be able to operate and provide valuable resources and information, all of these groups rely on the generous financial support of concerned members in our communities.  We should keep them in mind when we donate to worthy causes.

Regardless of how venomous the radical, homosexual Left becomes, we will not stop telling the truth about the immoral, unhealthy, unnatural and self-destructive homosexual lifestyle.  We will not stop countering the lies of homosexual activists with the Truth of God’s healing redemption for those afflicted with unwanted homosexual desires.

God sent his only Son, Jesus, who willingly paid the complete price for all the sins of man.  Jesus now offers us the free gift of salvation, through His own payment, if we will only turn and accept it.  With that gift comes all manner of healing, real freedom, true wisdom and knowledge.  God’s Great Gift Offer is extended to everyone, and the forces of Hell will never prevail against it.

Very dark days are ahead, and it may seem like the Dan Savages of the world are victorious in their wickedness, but one terrible, awesome Day, all the lies of Hell and the enemies of God will be burned to a crisp at the coming of the Lord by the Word of His mouth.

Dan Savage, you have time—while you’re still alive—to avoid the fire, if you so choose.  Turn and accept forgiveness, freedom and salvation from God the Father through Jesus, Who loves you so much that he paid for your sins long before you were ever born.

“He has wished all Republicans were ‘f-ing dead.'”

It’s amazing that so many people fail to see the rank hypocrisy of someone accusing others of “hate” and “bullying,” and then saying things like the above.

Those who recognize the harmfulness of the “gay” lifestyle may be harsh with their words, but ultimately all they want is for people stuck in life-dominating sin to find something much better. Real bullying of “gay” people does happen (though it’s far, far less common than “gay” apologists want people to think) but when it does it’s the product of a certain kind of ignorance. “Pro-gay” people promote a different kind of ignorance; but real understanding of homosexuality is the last thing they want anyone to have.

    • WXRGina

      Right, DCM.

And, bullying of every other kind of person also happens, but the homo-radicals have latched on to the “anti-bully” movement and made it their own. They have turned it into code language for support of homosexual indoctrination.

  • retiredday

Spiritual deception is a powerful thing.  It enslaves the intellect, which becomes blind to the truth and believes in lies.  There is no other explanation for someone like Dan Savage, who claims to be against bullying while name-calling high schoolers who have the courage of their convictions to walk out of his propaganda session.

This kind of deception is no different than what makes otherwise rational persons call Islam the religion of peace, ignoring the cruel violence it perpetrates.  There is a point at which the Dan Savages of this world will be forced to see that their thinking has been manipulated by a spirit of deception.  The Bible is a powerful weapon against these agents of the Enemy (Ephesians 6:12), and that is precisely why those who are deceived attack it.

Pray that souls will be saved as the Spirit of the living God overcomes the spirit of deception!

Pray for me. I’m trying to help a gay girl whose Mother abandoned her when she was 9. She left her at a psychiatric hospital (county one I believe) .  She says that she wants a loving relationship with a woman, but she doesn’t like gay women. The place where her Mother left her was unusally cruel to her and she watched other patients there be mistreated. I’ve told her that God says being gay is not His desire and it is a sin. She says she knows that but cannot help herself. I need lots of prayers for her and for me help her see. She wants to know if she can be forgiven. I’m not sure what to say to her. It’s tough to try and help someone like her.
God Bless you, Gina and God Bless American Clarion!

    • WXRGina

Oh, that’s a sad, tough situation you’re in, Judy. But, you can assure her that Jesus died for ALL of us, and ALL sins can be forgiven if we turn to Him. Yes, she most certainly CAN be forgiven!

Hang in there, Judy. We’ll be praying.

      • Jdragonflylady2000

Thanks for the support, Gina. I have to hang in there with her or else I’m sure she will feel even more abandoned. Oh my. What have I gotten myself into now. And it is a tough situation for me and for her. She thinks all will be well if she finds the perfect woman who will love her uncondionally and forever! I always appreciate your articles, my friend and your prayers.

        • DCM7

“She thinks all will be well if she finds the perfect woman who will love her unconditionally and forever!”

Many a person with homosexual attractions has thought the same thing (with “perfect man” substituted where applicable), only to end up wasting time “doing the same thing while expecting different results” and ending up disillusioned at best. I pray she can see that path for the dead end it is.

    • DCM7

“I’ve told her that God says being gay is not His desire and it is a sin. She says she knows that but cannot help herself.”

Lots of people with sexual issues cannot help themselves. She needs to understand that getting away from unhealthy attractions takes much time and help from others and from God, but that untold numbers of people have succeeded before her.

“She says that she wants a loving relationship with a woman, but she doesn’t like gay women.”

That might seem like an odd statement, but actually it makes perfect sense. Deep inside she doesn’t want a “gay woman” — she wants her mother, or *a* mother. Many people with sexual issues have had experiences like hers, leaving them with a longing for a parent who was missing or with whom there were other problems — a longing that became sexualized as they grew up. If she understands how this worked in her life, that’s a step toward becoming healthy and normal.

      • Jdragonflylady2000

What you have said makes perfect sense to me, DCM7. Thank you for taking the time to reply. You have been very informative. God Bless.

        • retiredday

God has obviously placed you into this young woman’s life so that you can help her. You can count on my prayers!  I also encourage you to look into groups mentioned in Gina’s article, such as Exodus International.  Often, they offer support networks and mentoring that could really help your friend.

The column goes on to quote the lead researcher on the study who blames bullying and lack of social acceptance for those increased problems among the homosexual population.

The rates of depression, drug abuse and suicide among homosexual youths is higher in San Francisco than most any other city in America.  How can this be?

    • DCM7

How indeed? Could it have something to do with the fact that homosexuals are actually troubled mainly by their own inner conflict, and “lack of social acceptance” is just a convenient scapegoat?

    • WXRGina

      Oh, very good point, Doc!

  • JohnAngel915

It’s not just the GLBT community that wants (and is getting) special status, and special treatment. NONE of the so called ‘hate crimes’, or ‘hate speech’ rulings are ever applied, or thrown at non-minorities, or non-gays. Who can forget (I can’t) when ‘candidate’ Obomma in the 07/08 campaign said “I believe Marriage should be between one man, & one woman”. He didn’t even have to ‘wink wink’. The Bolsheviks knew he was lying. How many 3rd world Moslems, with a “house full of wives” have they gone after? This lawless bunch will descend upon a Mormon Community, in body armor with guns drawn, but they dare not enforce ‘the law’ on Moslems. “Red & Yellow, Black & White” we (legal U/S citizens) should all have equal protection under the Constitution. Obommunists are all about “Social Justice” (pay back, & special treatment) not Equal Justice. Our Gov’t has been hostile towards traditional Americans for decades. The militant, activist, homosexual community won’t be satisfied until straights are penalized, and or taxed extra, for not being ‘gay’. God help us (and he might) if/when this current rogue adm re-steals the Nov election.

  • Anonymouse

Well, know I know why this group is considered a hate group. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

    • thisoldspouse

You should be the expert on shame, right?

    • JohnAngel915

AnynoMOUSITY: ANY person, or group, that doesn’t like Obomma, doesn’t want Communism, doesn’t agree with the whole Leftist multi-headed Hydra of Hate, is deemed by your ilk as a “Hayte Gwoop”, “waaah waaaahhhhhh”. Cry me a river, comrade.

    • http://www.americanclarion.com/ Bob Ellis

Yes, when you understand that the SPLC is a Leftist propaganda hate group, it’s easy to see why they would call Dakota Voice/American Clarion a “hate group.” Leftists are old-time masters of projectionist propaganda.

It is Leftists like SPLC and yourself who should be ashamed. But of course, if you had a sense of shame, you wouldn’t be pushing a morally corrosive agenda on our country, would you?

  • thisoldspouse

I always tell homosexual activists that it’s no wonder young people who think that they’re homosexual are committing suicide when in this day and age they are told by the “experts,” teachers, and pop cult-ture that they are “gay” and there is nothing they can do about it.  Talk about a hopeless situation.

  • http://www.americanclarion.com/ Bob Ellis

Actually, the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:3 that God’s followers will someday judge angels, and given that, “How much more the things of this life.”

Really, God has done the judging, because as the creator of all things, he sets the standard for right and wrong, and he has made it clear in both Old and New Testaments that homosexual behavior is a perversion of his design for human sexuality, and that he abhors this perversion.

God has also made it clear (Ezekiel 3:18-20, Matthew 28:19-20) that his followers, who have heard the truth and know it, have a duty to tell other people so that they can avoid the consequences of doing the wrong thing–in this life and in the one to come.

Will you listen to what is right, so you can avoid the unpleasant consequences? I can only hope so. God wants so much better for you than what people like Dan Savage offer.

  • http://www.americanclarion.com/ Bob Ellis

If you worship some guy named Jesus who doesn’t condemn people for doing things Jesus of Nazareth has clearly said are wrong, then you aren’t worshiping the Jesus of the Bible.

You must have found some dude named Jesus in East LA or somewhere to worship, because Jesus Christ–who is known as The Word, and who is the ultimate author of the entire Bible–has made it clear in both the Old and New Testaments several times that homosexual behavior is a sinful perversion of his design for human sexuality, and that he abhors it.

God does indeed love all people. He loves everyone far too much to leave them condemned to the mental, emotional and physical illness that homosexual behavior brings. That is why he gave us his Word which makes it clear that we are to avoid this behavior. You should read it sometime and stop hating homosexuals into misery on earth and Hell in eternity.

If you’d rather ignore God’s instruction to his people to tell others about the dangers of sin (Ezekiel 3:18-20, Matthew 28:19-20), you’ll be visiting God’s judgment on yourself.

The choice is yours, but you have been warned.

  • retiredday

Actually, this is for both Hannah and Tiffany.  Just exactly what has been said in these comments that you consider judging others (Tiffany) or hating and bullying (Hannah)?  We aren’t failing to love homosexuals.  We are trying to tell you about the sin and deception homosexuality traps you into.  What you are reading here is God’s judgement against sinners.  If you are a real Christian, you know that while God will forgive sinners WHO REPENT, God hates sin and will judge it accordingly.  What are the exact words you claim are hateful or judgmental? You are so caught up in your own judgement of us that you aren’t able to accurately gauge what is being said on this sight.  Try to grasp reality, not just your own prejudices.

    • DCM7

This isn’t meant to sound harsh, but I’m curious as to how much of what’s written here (in both article & comments) Anonymouse, Hannah & Tiffany actually read and made an effort to understand. Their reactions are very knee-jerk and shallow, making no attempt to address a single actual point made or fact cited. That’s very telling.

As you point out, they are not being judged and hated; rather, they are being encouraged to face some hard but inescapable reality — something no one finds easy to do.

  • JohnAngel915

God gave free men the right of free speech, and since the fall of Adam & Eve, ‘choice’. I agree with eliminating laws that jailed a man for poking another one in the anus. That’s not the Govt’s business what two consenting adults do in privacy without hurting others. Gina is entitled, under the soon to be outlawed ‘hayte spweech’ known currently as the first amendment. Libby likes to dish it out, but can’t take it.If you “can’t say it, that means the Commies intend that you not be able to even think it. God save the former Republic from Obommunism.

    • http://www.americanclarion.com/ Bob Ellis

Yes, God gave humanity the free will to do wrong. And, as we saw with the fall of Adam and Eve, consequences come with choosing to do wrong.

When two people choose to sodomize each other, they are misusing something sacred, something that affects society in general. It affects society by failing to help create the next generation of that society. It affects society with the disease it will spread.

When this is done openly and publicly, it affects society even more. When lies are told which confuse impressionable children, it affects society still more. When homosexual activists attempt to counterfeit marriage, society is even more affected.

So you see, society has an interest in prohibiting this immoral and unhealthy conduct.

  • DCM7

“do not condemn other[s] based on who they love.”

It always amuses to me to hear homosexuals described as those who “love” someone of the same sex. And it would be downright hilarious to many who have left the gay lifestyle and have seen for themselves what’s being called “love” here.

Love does not consist of a romantic feeling. Love does not consist of sex. And love certainly does not consist of using a person (particularly one of the wrong gender) sexually while also using others (which is basically what homosexual “love” generally looks like, as the real lives of “gays” inevitably demonstrate).

We’re supposed to believe that “gay” relationships are just as deep, stable, meaningful and monogamous as normal ones (although I don’t recall ever encountering anyone with the nerve to actually make the “monogamous” claim directly). Sorry, but some of us actually know something about such relationships and don’t buy that nonsense.

There is a term for real, deep, meaningful same-sex love. It’s “friendship.”

    • thisoldspouse

Great comment, DCM.  Your characterization of homosexual “relationships” is right on the mark.  Ronald G. Lee, a recovering homosexual whose eyes were opened to the same truths and escaped before death could become his destiny, wrote an excellent essay exposing the lies of “gay rights” from the inside, if anyone cares to look it up.

But the “monogamy” claim has been recently dropped by homosexuals.   After redefining the word to mean “consensual promiscuity,” and after people saw through the laughably inane line of thinking, they are now promoting the new canard that “open relationships” enhance their main one.  They now prescribe it for everyone, actually have the gall to say that faithfulness to one person is stifling and outdated.

      • DCM7

It figures. Sorry, but you can’t achieve “equality” with the real thing by trying to drag it down to the level of your counterfeit.

  • thisoldspouse

Savage is worst than a bully, he’s a rabid fascist.  If he could fulfill his most ardent wish, he’d execute every true Christian he could get his hands on.  He’s said as much.

That any credible journalism organization would invite this foul-mouthed, immature, brat to somehow utter something of supposed value to impressionable kids would have me either reconsidering my life’s vocation as a journalist, or have me declare war on modern journalism.

  • thisoldspouse

Are you really so blind that you can’t see Savage viciously judging these students and all Christians in his speech mentioned by Gina in the article?  Would you condemn him as well?

We won’t hold our breath for any repudiation from you.

  • Patrickcartier96

I can’t tell you how proud I am of the young people that walked out on Savage. The issue for these people is that they want public acceptence for their perverse life style and they will trash any one or book that holds to morality. The Bible is not the only reason that homosexuality is wrong, it is a abnormal act and it is that simple. Even animals are instinctively drawn to mate with oppisite sex. Maybe the problem is that we have choice and how did we gain choice. It was not from a single cell, and it did not come from aliens. The ablity to choose came from itellegent design, and for me that is God.

    • http://www.americanclarion.com/ Bob Ellis

Well said, Patrick! Given the strength of peer pressure, especially among young people, that took a LOT of courage for them to get up and leave.

  • http://www.facebook.com/JoeMyGod Joe Jervis

In case it’s not immediately apparent from the above story, this so-called “walkout” was staged and prearranged by Focus On The
Family, whose anti-Day Of Silence event was also taking place on April
19th and who that day posted quotes from the involved students. For
those unaware, FOTF asked Christian parents to keep their kids out of
school on the annual day for observing anti-bullying campaigns. If you
watch the clips closely, you’ll see that students begin to get up and
leave before Savage even says his first sentence about religion. You’ll
also note that FOTF strategically placed a high-rez camera to capture
the three rows of the audience of 2800 that walked out. These students
didn’t feel “bullied” or “offended,” they were asked in advance to
attend and then walk out. Faked fakery, but quite well executed
    considering the result.

    • WXRGina

HAHAHAHA!!!  This is rich!  The radical homosexual Left is whining that those of us on the Christian Right reportedly gave a “heads up” to a group of high school CHILDREN who are about to be subjected to a “keynote speech” by one of the  most vicious, despicable, depraved homosexual child predators in America.  AND, Focus on the Family was AUDACIOUS enough to tell parents to keep their kids out of school that day!  Oh, the horror!  HAHAHAHA!!!  Isn’t this amazing how the Left HATES it when WE organize?!  HAHAHA!!!

It’s about TIME that WE took a stand against your hellish assault on our schools kids with your perverse program!  Get used to it.  We are NOT going away, and we will fight you till the end.

      • http://www.facebook.com/JoeMyGod Joe Jervis

Actually my complaint is that Focus is allowing the public to believe that this was a spontaneous, student-initiated moment, when in fact it was orchestrated in advance.

        • WXRGina

You are desperately searching for an excuse to criticize the kids who were deeply offended by the reprehensible Savage Dan.  Did it occur to you that those of us who have eyes to see and ears to hear KNEW what kind of vile dirt would come out of that degenerate vegetable’s mouth?  You, like most homo-activists, are always scrambling to blame others for your own side’s sick agenda.  Maybe you should consider that most of America is behind OUR side and not yours.

Please go back into your closet.

          • http://www.facebook.com/JoeMyGod Joe Jervis

I have made no criticism of the attendees, who very well knew in advance what Savage’s topic and content would be. In fact, the students that traveled to attend this convention had to provide signed parental permission slips before being allowed to register.  Perhaps you should direct your anger to their parents.

            • WXRGina

No, I would not assume that all the “attendees”–children–would well know in advance what kind of toilet words Savage would utter, but that is your assumption alone.

You are grasping at straws (parent slips) in order to give credence to a pervert who was given permission to speak before these kids by people who can only be described as ignorant, at best.

You will not do well attempting to peddle your weak arguments here.  We are fully aware of your side’s hellish agenda.  It’s best if you ease on down the road.

    • http://www.americanclarion.com/ Bob Ellis

I have no idea one way or another if anything you’re saying is true, but given the proven predilection of homosexual activists and apologists for deception and distortion, I rather doubt you’re presenting an accurate picture of events.

Even if you are, that does not change by the slightest iota the hateful, bullying behavior of this homosexual propaganda artist.

Sorry, your attempts to distract from Savage’s vile behavior and his vile agenda fall flat with people who know your over-used bag of tricks.

Savage did not say “BS.”  He said “bulls***,” describing his blind opinion of the Word of God.  Slight difference.  That was not the only instance of profanity in his speech.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao0k9qDsOvs&feature=player_embedded
