Hypocrisy in the Hills: Environmentalist Breaks Law to Force Tree Cutting

The hypocrisy of so many environmental extremists simply knows no bounds, does it?  Oh, I’m not just talking about the kind that like to call themselves Christians while promoting an unbalanced worship of the earth.

I”m not just talking about President Obama’s “science” advisor John Holdren lives high on the hog while stumping for the reversal of American development.

I’m not just talking about James Cameron’s hypocrisy for living in a meager 24,000 sq. ft estate while demonizing modern conveniences for the rest of us.

Ted Cruz 2016

I’m not just talking about the hypocrites in congress who want to jack up our electric bills in the name of a hoax while they drive and fly around in gas-guzzling vehicles.

I’m not just talking about the hypocrisy of environmentalists like Sheryl Crow who travel around with multiple semi-trucks while insisting the rest of us save trees by using one square of toilet paper.

I’m not just talking about the hypocrisy of environmentalists like Leonard di Caprio who flew to watch the World Cup in a private jet.

Woodrow Wilcox

I’m not just talking about the hypocrisy of environmentalists like Harrison Ford who preach austerity to the unwashed masses while flying around in a private plane.

I’m not just talking about the hypocrisy of the environmentalists who fly on 140 private planes and use 1,200 limos to gather and tell the rest of us we need to ride bicycles to save the planet.

I’m not just talking about the environmentalist hypocrites whose confab produces the carbon footprint of 660,000 Ethiopians.

I’m not just talking about the green hypcrites who fly to Cancun to lecture the rest of the world about global warming.

I’m not just talking about the hypocrisy of Global Warming High Priest Al Gore who preaches to the rest of us while buying a new $9 million mansion in California complete with a swimming pool, spa, fountains, six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms…nor am I talking about his hypocrisy during “Earth Hour” when he left burning his flood lights that light up the trees in front of his house.

I’m not even talking about the hypocrisy of the IPPC chief who has a chauffeur drive him a whole mile to work and half a mile to a market.

No, I’m talking about some local environmentalist hypocrisy from Brian Brademeyer, as reported by the Rapid City Journal. Get a load of this:

A Black Hills environmentalist who for years has fought U.S. Forest Service timber-cutting projects is facing federal charges for changing marks on trees in a timber sale near his home so that more trees would be cut.

Brian Brademeyer, who lives on a small private acreage inside the Norbeck Wildlife Preserve southeast of Hill City, faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for the misdemeanor citation served on Jan. 31. He is scheduled to appear before U.S. Magistrate Judge Veronica Duffy on March 15 in Rapid City.

As the article goes on to report, it seems there’s some personal interest on the part of this environmentalist in seeing more trees cut down: they’re obstructing his view of a beautiful meadow.

And he’s not only willing to talk out one side of his mouth against cutting trees while hoping out of the other to see more trees (that suit him) cut down, he’s willing to commit criminal deception to get those trees cut down.

Cut down trees to make products people use and need?  No way!  Cut down trees to manage our forests, prevent forest fires and property loss?  Uh uh!  Cut down trees to advance civilization? Forget it!  Cut down trees to improve my personal view? No matter what it takes!

Do these environmentalists really think we’re that stupid? Or are they just hoping we aren’t paying attention (which, too often, we aren’t)?

We’re long overdue for simply ignoring blithering evironmentalists like this, and now is as good a time as any to start.

Thanks to a friend for pointing this story out to me.
