These are the top articles for the past week at American Clarion. These are the ones readers found most compelling, and if you missed one the first time around, maybe you will too.
It’s Not Romney’s ‘Hidden’ Tax Returns; It’s Obama’s Hidden Past (Gina Miller) – Throughout this latest red herring tactic about Mitt Romney’s taxes by Harry Reid and the Obama Democrat machine, I have been thinking about how astonishingly brazen these communist tools are in attempting to shine a spotlight on Romney’s past tax records—an absolute non-story—when Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) has a past that is almost completely hidden and sealed. Mitt Romney should start illuminating Obama’s lawless actions while in office, instead of pussy-footing around with second-string defense, unless Romney is just trying to lose!
Homofascists Strike in Denver (Bob Ellis) – The campaign of intimidation waged by homofascists against Chick-fil-A gained a lot of attention last week, and rightly so. It’s about time the silent majority took a public stand against these Leftists whose dark agenda has nothing whatsoever to do with “tolerance.” But in Denver, homofascists are at it again, and this incident hasn’t received much attention.
Exposing South Dakota RINO Leadership (Bob Ellis) – This mailer went out from Reagan Republicans SD on Aug. 6 to South Dakotans all across the state. Because too many “Republicans” in South Dakota–especially in the state House leadership–are too busy advancing the other team’s agenda, many Republicans who actually believe in and support the values and platform of the GOP are trying to educate South Dakotans who agree with GOP principles that those principles are being betrayed by those we should most be able to trust to advance them.
Democrats Disavow Their Own US Senate Candidate (Bob Ellis) – This is hilarious. A conservative in Tennessee entered the U.S. Senate race legitimately as a Democrat, and then won the primary. Now the Democrats have officially disavowed their own party’s nominee. It seems Mark Clayton is just a little too conservative for the Tennessee Democrat Party. By disavowing their own primary winner, are Democrats telling us that (gasp) they aren’t really as open-minded and inclusive as they lead us to believe?
Fluke Flunkies Flunk Basic Contraception…and Freedom (Bob Ellis) – Remember Georgetown University student and feminist activist Sandra Fluke who testified to congress that she was having so much sex that she needed the government to force others to surrender their religious liberty to pay for her $1,000-a-year contraception bill? Well, she’s campaigning for The One, and Caleb Bonham of Revealing Politics interviewed some rally attenders about this important issue. We get some real gems that pass for “pearls of wisdom” on the Left.
Early Entry for WND’s ‘Operation Spike’ of 2012: Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day (Gina Miller) – Regular readers of WorldNetDaily (WND) look forward to the editors’ long-running, year-end tradition of collecting reader submissions, adding their own, and then publishing their list of the top ten significant news stories most-ignored by the “mainstream” media: “Operation Spike.” “Spike” is the term used for burying, underreporting or not reporting a news story. I already have my entry for Operation Spike of 2012.
Reid, Pelosi, Wasserman-Schultz: When the Left Just Doesn’t Get It (Carrie K. Hutchens) – Harry Reid is out there shouting all his stuff, like we really believe some mysterious person seriously called him and suggested “true” knowledge that Mitt Romney “really” didn’t pay taxes at any point during the past ten years, but the IRS is so stupid that it didn’t notice that little piece of information and so feeble that it hasn’t stepped forward, even though Reid pointed out their inept standards of review?
Why We Need Publicly Funded Universities (Bob Ellis) – In this enlightening Robot Theater video, we learn some interesting things: Why liberal indoctrination in public schools and universities is necessary; Why this indoctrination is required (there are fewer liberals when liberal indoctrination is not required); Why conservatives think the way they do (they spend too much time in unstructured environments, such as the real world).
Obama Right On About Wisconsin Shooting (Bob Ellis) – President Obama is absolutely right when he says that Americans need to so some soul-searching in the wake of the slaughter in Wisconsin over the weekend: “President Obama said mass shootings like the one in Wisconsin over the weekend are becoming far too commonplace and should prompt some “soul searching” by all Americans.”
The True Hatred of the Lawless Left (David Pepe) – Riddle me this… What drives the secular godless base leftist mind to an even more hyper state of insanity and brings all of these godless works of rage to an absolute fever pitch of hatred even more so than Sarah Palin, George “W” Bush, Ronald Reagan and Rush Limbaugh?
Thanks go out to the writers for their hard work, and to the readers for recognizing the merit of these articles.
Note: Reader comments are reviewed before publishing, and only salient comments that add to the topic will be published. Profanity is absolutely not allowed and will be summarily deleted. Spam, copied statements and other material not comprised of the reader’s own opinion will also be deleted.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the party over to the so-called moderates wouldn't make any sense at all." - Ronald Reagan, Nov. 10, 1964 |
