“V” for Victory! It was on JULY 19, 1941, that British Prime Minister Winston Churchill held up two fingers as a sign of victory.
It became a symbol for all Western European resistance during WWII, with V signs painted on walls and over Nazi posters.
Winston Churchill, in From War to War, (Second World War, 1958, Vol. 1, ch. 4, p. 50) described Hitler’s Mein Kampf as:
“…the new Koran of faith and war: turgid, verbose, shapeless, but pregnant with its message.”
Before the House of Commons, June 18, 1940, Churchill warned:
“I expect that the Battle of Britain is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of Christian civilization…
“The whole fury and might of the enemy must very soon be turned on us. Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this Island or lose the war.”
Churchill continued:
“If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands.
But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.”
Winston Churchill concluded:
“Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, ‘This was their finest hour.’”
Earlier in his career, 1897-1898, Winston Churchill fought in northwest India, Egypt and Sudan, serving under the command of General Herbert Kitchener.
Churchill returned to Britain and penned a two-volume work, The (Nile) River War, in which he wrote:
“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!…The fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog…Insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live…
“A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.
“The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
“Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities…but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.
“No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.
“Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith.
“It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”
As quoted by Stanely Kurtz in “Tribes of Terror” (Claremont Review, 2007/2008), Churchill described Islam as a:
“system of ethics, which regards treachery and violence as virtues rather than vices.”

The Boy Scouts of America recently decided they have greater loyalty to homosexual activists than to the God they pledge duty to and decided to allow homosexual boys to join the organization. Not to be left behind in the West's headlong plunge into immorality and insanity, the British equivalent of the Girl Scouts, Girl Guides, has decided to embrace narcissism over God.
Senator John Thune (R-S.D.), Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, issued a statement today following the Senate’s rejection of his border security amendment (S. Amdt. 1197) to the immigration reform bill (S. 744). Thune’s amendment would have required construction of approximately 350 miles of reinforced, double-layer fencing, which was required by the immigration bill passed in 1996, as a trigger prior to Registered Provisional Immigrant (RPI) status being granted.
Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, Jay Carney and President Obama all lied to us about Benghazi. Holder has lied to Congress and has been held in contempt. Lies have been told about many things, including the gathering of reporters' phone calls and the IRS targeting. Yet, people in the government and their agencies are surprised that we are doubtful as to the truthfulness of their words?
Soon after President Obama and his allies lost key votes in the U.S. Senate on their push for more federal gun control laws, they started pushing for immigration reform. Part of the purpose of the immigration reform drive is a stealth strategy against the Second Amendment and its supporters. Obama hopes that adding millions of new voters from among the illegal aliens who get citizenship will overwhelm American voters and politicians who support the Second Amendment.
James Ware, a candidate for Controller in the state of California in 1978, was frustrated by the mail in voter registration system and decided to publicize the potential for abuse. Ware proceeded to register his cat to vote, and let the media in on the secret. State authorities proceeded to threaten Ware with prosecution due to his abuse of the system, but his point was made, anyone or anything could be registered to vote, and with mail in voting, there was no way for the government to prevent voter fraud.
